È sempre bello ed emozionante accogliere persone da tutto il mondo.
Quando arrivano, dentro di te prometti loro di regalargli un po di serenità, in fondo stai contribuendo alla loro felicità di visitare un posto nuovo.
Quando ripartono ti dispiace, perché pensi che loro erano i migliori, ma poi non finisci mai di sbalorditi.
E poi capita che dimentichino qualcosa nell'armadio o nel cassetto.
Non solo calzini o deodoranti, a volte anche soldi, carte di credito, oggetti preziosi.
Allora fai di tutto per riconsegnargli quanto dimenticato e ti accorgi che li hai resi veramente felici.
Ti sganciano un sorriso a 32 denti e capisci che ti sono veramente grati e che apprezzano il lavoro che hai fatto per loro.
Questo è uno degli aspetti, l'umanità, che più preferisco, di questo lavoro.

It is always beautiful and exciting to welcome people from all over the world.
When they arrive, promise them in your heart to give them some serenity, after all you are contributing to their happiness of visiting a new place.
When they leave you are sorry, because you think they were the best, but then you never end up amazed.
And then they forget something in the closet or drawer.
Not just socks or deodorants, sometimes even money, credit cards, valuables.
Then do everything to give back what you have forgotten and realize that you have made them really happy.
They give you a 32-tooth smile, and you realize they’re really grateful and appreciate the work you’ve done for them.
This is one of the aspects, humanity, that I prefer the most, of this work.
