7.30 still cool (around 25 C)
So hot this morning that even statues will get sunburnt.
But it's good to have plenty of water everywhere and for free.
Buongiorno
A gorgeous sunny day, temperatures are supposed to reach 32C today!
Oh nooo!
How could I enter this ice cream shop and say "no thanks" when my clients asked me if I wanted a cone😄
Going to work on Saturday morning...
Heading to work.
Early morning, streets are quiet because of the long bank holiday: tomorrow is Labour's Day

Good morning!
After a night of heavy rain the light at 7,30 is beautiful.
This is a rare example of anemoscope in marble from V cent AD probably.
It was an instrument used to indicate the direction of the winds. It is decorated with personifications of the winds. 🌬️

Summer is coming to an end, it's in the air: it feels different.
Roadwork roadwork roadwork all over Rome.
Rome is getting ready for the Jubilee 2025 and from now until the 2025 I suppose traffic jams will be an ordinary business.
After a summer break in Greece (I'll post something about it later) this morning I returned to the Vatican Museums for a tour.
The first week of September is always pretty slow.
In the video you can see the main entrance of the Museums opened in 2000 featuring also the wooden model of the Vatican City and then the main spiral stairway to exit the museums that dates back to the 1930s
The cannon shooting from the Janiculum hill is every day at noon.
People waiting to enter St Peter's square for the Wednesday papal audience.
