Pope Paul V Borghese - the same fella who stuck his name out front of St Peter’s Basilica - Also restored and ancient Roman Aquaduct, completed in 1614, bringing the water to Rome on the Trastevere side of the River from Bracciano Lake (Where Tom Cruise Married Katie Holmes!). However - being LAKE water it wasn’t that great - so inspired the saying in Trastevere that if something is like the Pauline Water then it really isn’t worth much!!

In the Uk Mothering Sunday is celebrated on the 4th Sunday in Lent and originated as a celebration of the mother church - the one you were baptised in - which you are supposed to return to…

Mourning is officially over and things are moving on into the new reign of King Charles III.

I’m sure most of you will have seen the official announcement, but for those of you who have not yet seen this Historical, Beautiful Cypher 🇬🇧👑❤️

The cypher of King Charles III has been revealed, showing an image to be used by government departments and on state documents and post boxes.
It was personally chosen by the King, from a range of designs produced by the College of Arms.
The monogram combines his initial "C" and "R" for Rex, the Latin for king, plus III for the third King Charles.
The cypher, a visual identity for the new reign, replaces the E II R of Queen Elizabeth II.
As the period of royal mourning ends, the new cypher of King Charles will be used for the first time.

I have been asked this question recently not just on my Beefy409 page but also by our many visitors here at the Tower of London;
YES the CYPHER on our uniforms will change, but not immediately. Our uniform will change in time for the King’s Coronation, the date of which is yet to be confirmed.

La befana was an old lady the wise men popped in for directions ...! She couldn’t help them but was later inspired to look for the newborn Jesus... never finding him, she leaves gifts for the good children and coal for the ‘bad’ on her eternal journey to seek out Jesus...
So kids get 2 stockings here!
