The Trevi Fountain : silent queen of Rome during this past quarantine period.

Usually visited by thousands and thousands every day (even in the middle of the night), for more than two months she was left alone with herself.

She has feelings too 😥

Now she still stands there gorgeous and just a few locals can admire the details of her statues, the light blue of her water and the poetry of her night lighting system, which was a birthday present last year btw😕

Please everyone help me cheer her up by sending lots of virtual love to Trevi! ❤
Promise that you'll come visit her again, promise that you'll take selfies with her again and that you'll throw some coins in her enormous basin again, she does love coins.
Thanks

'While I am still paying attention to the colorful decorations, I realize that the silence is gradually fading. The sound of the tables of the cafès outisde are now taking possession of their space once again. Young waiters yelling, the smell of food and the lime and mint flavors of a mojito will follow me home.'

A century ago Karol Josef Wojtyla, later Pope John Paul II , was born in Wadowice, Poland.
Considered by many an innovator in the catholic world, he made It to the history books when he was shot in St. Peter's Square in 1981. He later forgave his shooter in perfect fashion.

This is what we miss the most.
Our wonderful relationship with guests from all over the world. Making connections, building bridges with around 100 people everyday, showing them the beauty of our country.
Seeing fresh and sincere wonder in their eyes for every little detail in a work of art or in a beautiful building.
We treasure every single moment.
We always liked providing a personable service and everyone in our team is on a mission to keep this feeling of awe always fresh and brand new every morning.

We thank everyone that in these hard times decided to give us a sense of trust and hope.
Everyone that decided not to cancel their visit to Italy, but to reschedule it for a next time.
We thank everyone that crossed our path in the last ten years and everyone that will do so in the next decade of work.
This is just the beginning of the journey.

Springtime sets in ☀️

First days of Spring last year.
The sky is blue over Rome, flowers are blooming and spirits are high.

This year is no different, the weather is gorgeous and the cherry trees bloom in pink as usual. Except there's no one there to enjoy the fine weather and the beauties of our city. A spring classic is driving to the outskirts of Rome with our loved ones, reaching the seaside in Ostia, the lakes or the mountains in Castelli Romani.
Having a picnic in the woods, sit down and enjoy some barbecue and red wine with friends.
Those memories keep us going and those moments will soon come back .
Life is beautiful

Happy Sunday everyone! 🙂

Happy Sunday everyone! 🙂

'Hi guys,
Greetings from Australia! Thinking of you in this tough time. Italians are showing the world how to sing!! Well done. We have wonderful memories of our time in Rome. We loved it. And we absolutely loved our Segway tour of the city by day. We learnt so much from our guide and had lots of fun. In fact we loved it so much we booked a night Segway tour a day later! When we first told our daughter who is a physiotherapist that we were going on a Segway tour of Rome her comment was “I’ll book you in for rehabilitation after you break your hip falling off mum!!” Well the opposite was true. I became the “Segway queen”. It was so easy to master and so so much fun! If we ever come to Rome again we will book with you guys again! In the meantime the whole world is adjusting to a new way of living and hopefully the worst is over for Italy. Keep safe, keep singing and when this is over keep segwaying!! All the very best!!
Irene'
Thank you for thinking of us, Segway queen!
We hope the worst is over as well for Italy and for the whole world! Hugs and kisses from Rome to Australia😘🇮🇹

'Surprisingly, the Italians turned out to be quite respectful towards the new rules, appreciating the serious nature of the situation.[..] We rediscovered our typical love for family ties as meals break up the day and give a sense of routine to life at home.A new wave of national unity surged, everyday at 6PM Italians are singing the national anthem from their balconies.'

Our country was hit hard with the Coronavirus issue, we were the first western country to take extreme actions in order to counter it, and hopefully this will result in being among the best ones to get back up as soon as it's over
EcoArt is working behind the scenes to improve and prepare for the unpredictable touristic scenarios of the coming months.
As for now, we ask you to consider rescheduling your trip to Italy, instead of thoroughly cancelling the whole visit.
Italy is the country with the most World Heritage UNESCO sites in the whole world, despite certainly not being one of the biggest.
Choosing to reschedule your trip will be completely free of charge and it will allow you to get 15% off your second purchase with us*.
We thank you for your overwhelming support in these hard times and remind you we are always available to answer your questions or to help you out

Regards,
The EcoArt Team

Our Story

Tour Operator . Special Tours on Segways Here at Rome by Segway, we are passionate about Segways and travel. Easy, intuitive and fun to use, they are great for all ages and types of travellers. Riding a Segway is a great time in and of itself, but when you combine a Segway with a stunningly beautiful city like Rome – it’s a perfect match. With a Segway you’ll cover more ground then you ever could on foot. Even after three hours of sightseeing, your feet won’t ache. When visitors arrive in Rome they are often overwhelmed by the sheer amount of things there are to see. It feels impossible to ‘see it all’ — but with our Segway tours, we come pretty close!

We are dedicated to ensuring every traveller that books a Segway tour with us has an enjoyable experience. We have a brand new, beautiful office located just around the block from the Colosseum. Our bathroom, water cooler, coffee machine, couches and free Wifi are at the disposition of our guests. All of our itineraries are personally crafted by our staff, and feature an exciting mix of the famous sights Rome is known for and favorite ‘local’ spots. We are proud to rank in the top tier of Rome Activities on Trip Advisor, with hundreds of five star reviews.

When we look to the future of travel, the environment is important to us. Rome by Segway is proud to use zero-emission Segways, which are completely electric and incredibly efficient. Not only are they a much greener choice than your usual bus tour, Segways allow you to get up close to the city you are experiencing instead of just driving by.

For all of these reasons and more, we are proud to offer the best Segway tours in town. We look forward to having you join us in Rome!
