1st time EVER the quorum of the twelve and prophet all together in one place outside of USA. The Rome temple is a temple square and location of distinction. I believe it will have a powerful influence for Europe and all who visit there. I have to think Peter, holding the keys after Christ, entombed in St Peter's Basilica nearby, had something to do with this temple on the other side of the veil (along with a host of others). I love the pic of the sculptured original apostles lined up behind our current 12 and presidency with Christ overlooking it all.

An mission buddy of mine, Greg Stewart, returned from the Rome temple open house and offered tips. He made his own plans and stayed at different AirBnB's. All were very hospitable and went the extra mile to help them enjoy the local culture...sounds like Italians! He also highly recommended Voglia Di Pizza in Rome and Gelati Bianchi in Siracusa (way down south for those going to Sicily). He claims it was better than Venchi in Rome! Now I will be forced to go back and confirm this.

Whipping up ravioli from scratch with the help of these amazing Italian chefs. Class was in old convent in beautiful hillside of Bigallo just outside of Florence. It is now a functioning hostel. Beautiful! Next post shows view. And this group of people are amazing!

I received this instruction from the church headquarters about the dedication of the Rome temple:

Dear Brother Fellows,

The broadcast locations for the dedication are for Sunday, March 10, 2019. Sessions will be held at 9:00am, 12:00 noon, and 3:00pm.

We suggest arriving one hour prior to the scheduled session. Those attending should be prepared to present their current recommend for admittance and bring a white handkerchief.
