When in Rome and you badly need to ride a public bus but you don't have a ticket, scout for nearby shops with a "T sign." Signage means Tabaccheria. They sell tickets you can use for the buses and the Metro. Note: If you ride without a ticket and you get caught, fine is a whopping 50 Euros per person!

We were at Piazza San Pietro today for the Angelus to hear Pope Francesco's message about the . He too is asking how is it possible for humans to plan and execute such acts. Given the ultra challenging public transportation situation here in Rome these days, owing to pick pockets, strikes, and millions of tourists, My Bella Italia is extending its tourist transfer services from and to the airport to foreign students at student price. Since I was a student too before coming here on a budget, I know this predicament too well.

I'll have a Mercedes Sedan or Van pick you up, whichever you need. The driver will pick you up right inside the airport so your arrival will be comfortable and fuss-free. With our transfer, you just pay for a flat rate, that is very close to the flag-down rate of cabs coming from the airport. With a flat rate, you don't have to worry about the ticking meter if you encounter heavy traffic.
