Our Team

EAT IN ROMA is a fresh and dynamic Company with a long history behind, born out of “Milavagando”, the Travel Agency that has been making Italian travelers’ dreams come true for many years. Our strong experience in tourism and hospitality also includes the management until 2016 of "Eating Italy", the food-tour group leader in Europe.

Our Food Tours take our guests through historical neighborhoods and picturesque locations. In Testaccio, between the river and the Aventino, we stop at: Volpetti, the popular gourmet grocery store; Barberini, the famous café and bakery; Flavio al Velavevodetto; Giolitti; and others. In Trastevere, across the Tiber, we stop at: Antica Caciara, the hundred-year-old delicatessen; Biscottificio Innocenti, the old-fashioned cookies factory; Norcineria Iacozzilli; Der Belli; and others.

Our Cooking Class takes place in our apartment in central Rome, just a few steps from Piramide/Ostiense Station, right in front of Eataly. A true Italian Nonna teaches how to prepare a traditional meal with fresh and seasonal ingredients. Granma and her interpreter greet their guests with a glass of prosecco and delicious snacks… nobody should cook on an empty stomach! After the class, we sit down, relax and enjoy the delicious food we prepared.
