ITALDRAGHE 10″ DREDGERS COMMISSIONING AND LAUNCHING IN INDIA

The commissioning of the first of two 10” dredgers supplied to the Indian Government has just been completed. In the next few days, the assembly and commissioning of the remaining one will take place as well.

Italdraghe has been awarded with a tender from the Indian Government confirming its technical expertise in this market.
Currently, Italdraghe technicians are on site, in order to instruct and collaborate with the local team in the assembly, commissioning and launching of both dredgers.

The conditions of the ground and the missing equipment such as suitable cranes represented a challenge for our technicians who, however, were able to work in very harsh conditions thanks to their preparation and technical skills.

This launching represents a great source of pride for Italdraghe Team. It is indeed the proof that our Team works hard to assist our clients not only before the delivery but and especially after-sales, in order to supply the most performing equipment.

Italdraghe - Draghe dal fiume Uso a Bellaria all'Amazzonia.

Dalla draga Uso che scavava i fanghi nel porto di Bellaria a ’mostri’ a propulsione elettrica venduti in mezzo mondo, dall’Amazzonia alla Scandinavia: una trentina di Paesi. Italdraghe di San Giovanni in Marignano alla conquista del mondo. L’azienda fondata nel 1952 con il nome Omim (Officina meccanica industriale marittima) è tra i leader mondiali nella costruzione di barche per il dragaggio.

The dredging head is a high efficient and modular heavy-duty submersible dredge pump unit. This pump unit has several dredging tools and connectors to adapt to every situation and environment. The dredging head is ideal for small-scale dredging projects in narrow canals, small reservoirs or harbours where only a few thousand cubic meters of material need to be removed and where employing a full-size dredger would prove impractical and uneconomical. Lastly, the dredging head is compatible with all types of hydraulic excavator whether land-based or floating.

- Italdraghe ha progettato e disegnato la draga marina master per permettere attività di dragaggio in luoghi in cui non potrebbe essere impiegata un differente tipo di draga a causa della limitata manovrabilità del sito. La peculiarità di tale marina master è la possibilità di compiere opere di dragaggio in marine, sotto pontoni, pontili e banchine galleggianti senza provvedere alla rimozione degli stessi.

- Italdraghe has developed and designed the marina master dredger in order to allow to operate under floating docks and floating piers where a different type of dredger would not be able to operate due to limited manoeuvrability chances.

BD3 IN INDIA FOR SALTY LAKE

Italdraghe will deliver a new dredging head – submergible pump BD3 type to India.

The dredging head will be installed on a floating excavator and employed for the removal of salt in a salty lake replacing this way the old mechanism in place.

This highly efficient and modular heavy-duty submersible dredge unit can be indeed used to improve efficiency in the operations.
