My name is Massimo and I was born in 1974 in San Miniato, a little medieval town located in the heart of Tuscany and deservedly listed as one of undisputed Capitals of the White Truffle (Tuber Magnatum Pico). I consider myself one of the few privileged people to have grow up “in the middle of truffles”: my grandfather Lino was one of the firsts truffle hunters in Tuscany and my dad Salvatore, the
President of the Truffle Hunter Association for 18 years! They are the one that gave me an intense passion for this incredible “Diamond of the Nature”, respect for the truffle hunter tradition, love for the truffle dog (the real superheroes during the hunting) and, of course, a big passion for his valuable use in the kitchen and typical recipes. It’s just for all of this that today, whit the help of my family, I love to tell you about the real and high quality truffle (so different from “truffle aroma”, chemicals or “fake truffles”), its tradition, its history, the legends that recall his myth and its uses in the kitch-en… this is my method to preserve the truffle tradition that is losing with the “Truffle Business” and, more important, a method to preserve a very unique habitat in the world where truffles grow up! Each of my Truffle Experience is exclusive, suitable for the whole family and customizable upon availability and your request: it’s very important to me to “teach you something”, answer to all your question or curiosity! When you depart from my house you will be my “Ambassador of the Real Truffle” because I’m sure that you will be able to help me to spread the truffle tradition and why not, to protect a special habitat where the Food of the Gods grow up!
