The idea of "Best of Mas" (best of Memento Audere Semper...in latin it means Remember to dare, always) borns from the need to share all the things that I learned, in my life, about my land: Tourists come in Tuscany and usually have tours: they visit many places but they don't really can appreciate the truth of the culture of Tuscany, which is made of many things...not only wineries and monuments.

Our culture is made of course of a great history, of many good wines, of particular foods, but also of proverbs, landscapes, people, uncharted corners, human experiences. I would like to guide you in the heart of this culture, breathing it like I do every day, not only such as a tourist but most of all like a friend.

Un borgo minuscolo, un campanile e qualche tetto spiovente carico di neve.❄️ Incastonato tra le vette delle Alpi Giulie, il borgo sulla cima del Monte Lussari ospita l’omonimo santuario, detto anche Chiesa “dei tre popoli”: italiani, austriaci e sloveni. Puoi raggiungerlo percorrendo l’impervio Sentiero dei Pellegrini (CAI 613) oppure con la funivia da Camporosso.

A tiny hamlet, a bell tower and a handful of snow-laden roofs.❄️ Nestled between the peaks of the Julian Alps on the summit of Mount Lussari is Borgo Lussari, home to the historic sanctuary by the same name. You can reach the village by hiking along the steep Sentiero dei Pellegrini (CAI 613) or by cable car from Camporosso.
