Kneippen in Ratzes💧

Das Kneippen stärkt das Immunsystem, regt den Kreislauf an und fördert die Durchblutung.
Die Anlage ist frei zugänglich und ein idealer Ort für eine kleine Auszeit zwischendurch.

L'impianto Kneipp Ratzes 💧L’impianto Kneipp Ratzes è un luogo speciale di relax – un vero centro di energia, dove corpo, mente e anima trovano pace in armonia con la natura. 🌿 Circondato dal bosco e dall’aria fresca di montagna, l’acqua fredda invita alla camminata nell’acqua e al bagno delle braccia – rivitalizzante e benefico allo stesso tempo. Già Sebastian Kneipp conosceva il potere curativo dell’acqua e l’importanza degli stimoli naturali per la salute. Il metodo Kneipp rafforza il sistema immunitario, stimola la circolazione e favorisce l’irrorazione sanguigna.
L’impianto è accessibile liberamente ed è il luogo ideale per una breve pausa rigenerante.

The exhibition presents a selection of artworks by the Ahrntal artist Alois Steger.
Working across various media, the artist has collaborated with curator Eva von Ingram Harpf to select seven pieces for the village center of the Dolomite village Seis am Schlern. Created from natural elements and materials, the works are designed to change over the course of the exhibition due to exposure to the weather, becoming a planned part of their transformation.

The Singing Trees 🌲
Long ago, when forests still whispered ancient secrets, seven grand fir trees stood in a quiet clearing deep in the Laranz Forest—a place feared and said to be cursed.
One golden day, a weary young hunter found the clearing. As he rested beneath the trees, he thought he heard soft singing. Sleep overcame him, and in his dream, seven beautiful maidens appeared. “Of seven times seven, only we remain,” said one. They were the souls of the trees. If the trees were harmed, they too would vanish. In return for his protection, they promised songs and dreams more beautiful than any he’d known.
When he awoke, their voices still echoed in the treetops. He carved his name into one trunk to find the place again.
A year later, he returned—only six trees remained. In his dream, the sisters asked, “Will you not watch over us?” Each year, he came back. With each visit, a tree—and a sister—was gone.
On the final visit, only one tree stood. The last maiden whispered, “Of seven sisters, I alone remain. Will you be my knight?”
This time, he stayed. When a woodcutter came to fell the last tree, the hunter drove him away. In that moment, the final sister appeared, radiant in a bridal gown. She took his hand—and so their story, and the forest’s, found its happy ending.🍃

Seis am Schlern is getting ready for a magical Advent and Christmas season!❄️
In addition to the ice rink in the village square with skate rentals, there will be fascinating magic and fire shows, great live bands, contemplative Advent concerts, and atmospheric Christmas stories, providing a varied program.
A winter experience for young and old alike!
The opening of the ice rink on November 30 will be accompanied by a Magic Show on Ice for Kids at 3pm followed by a concert with "Speed Up" at 5pm✨🎶

In South Tyrol’s autumn season, meals are prepared slowly and leisurely, but they’re eaten with hearty appetites. That’s because the true Törggelen tradition involves a hike to the farmhouse. 🍂
This was also the custom in the past: after the grape harvest, it was common to pay a visit to the farmers, to taste the “Nuien”—the new wine—and the “Siasen”—the sweet, unfermented wine.🍷 Alongside, there was whatever the farm could provide: soup, dumplings, sausage, and pastries, not to forget the roasted chestnuts, called “Keschtn” in South Tyrol.
Even today, at Törggelen, the farmer serves only what he has in the kitchen, barn, and wine cellar. This makes for a wonderfully hearty meal, after which a homemade schnapps is often enjoyed for digestion.
The name "Törggelen" comes from the Latin word Torculum, meaning wine press, which is called “Torggl” by the South Tyroleans. 🍇

Letzterer ist sogar Namensgeber für eine Aussichtsplattform: der Köngiswarte im Laranzer Wald.
Ein Urlaub in Seis am Schlern verspricht Entdeckungen entlang der vielseitigen Themenwege: Auf dem Geologenweg gehen geologisch Interessierte auf eine Zeitreise durch 270 Millionen Jahre Erdgeschichte. Familien begeben sich auf die Spuren des Dichters und Ritters Oswald von Wolkenstein und tauchen in die mittelalterliche Welt ein. Und wer im Urlaub einen Blick auf die faszinierende Welt der Steinpilze, Pfifferlinge und Fliegenpilze werfen möchte, der ist auf dem Pilzeweg in Seis am Schlern richtig.
Seis am Schlern ist seinem Charakter als ursprüngliches Bergdorf treu geblieben. Heute ist der Ort zudem beliebter Ausgangspunkt für Erkundungstouren auf der Seiser Alm. Die Seiser Alm Bahn, deren Talstation in Seis am Schlern liegt, führt schnell und bequem auf Europas größte Hochalm.

Se desiderate approfittare della vostra permanenza per curiosare nell’affascinante regno di porcini, finferli e ovoli malefici, non esitate a inoltrarvi sul Sentiero dei funghi, a Siusi allo Sciliar.
Questa località, rimasta fedele alla sua anima di tradizionale paese alpino, oggi è anche un amato punto di partenza per intraprendere tour esplorativi sull’Alpe di Siusi, dal momento che ospita la stazione a valle dell’omonima cabinovia che consente di raggiungere in tutta rapidità e comodità il più vasto altipiano d’Europa.
As far back as the beginning of the 19th century, the little town in the mountains was a magnet for illustrious artists, crowned heads of State and Russian nobility. Writer Carl Zuckmayer holidayed here in Siusi allo Sciliar, as did Russian researcher Count Aleksej Bobrinski, and the last king of Saxony, Frederick III. The latter is also the namesake of the Veduta del Re/Köngiswarte (Eng. ‘King’s Keep’) lookout point in the Laranza Forest.
A holiday in Siusi promises myriad journeys of discovery along the many theme trails: on the Geologist’s Trail you will travel through 270 million years of the Earth’s history, while families can also follow in the trails of poet and Knight Oswald von Wolkenstein for a time and leap back into the Middle Ages. And if you fancy a glimpse into the fascinating world of boletus, chanterelle, fly agaric and more, just head out along the mushroom trail in Siusi allo Sciliar.
Siusi allo Sciliar has remained true to its rustic, mountain village character, and is also one of the most popular set-off points for tours around the Alpe di Siusi. The Alpe di Siusi cable car Valley Station is in Siusi allo Sciliar and takes you quickly and comfortably to Europe’s largest high mountain plateau.
