We are one of the first families to stay renting the entire home since Louisa changed from a B&B concept, so don’t let the lack of reviews steer you away! Because of Louisa’s experience in hospitality, cooking classes and being a true local, you are treated better than a 5star hotel - responsiveness, area recommendations (assist with beach club reservations, tour guides) , she even had snacks/wine available in the kitchen after a long journey! Air conditioning in each bedroom and kitchen. It’s about a 5min walk into town, but those few minutes give you so much respite and peace from the noise and tourism, you feel like a local that just wants to sip wine and eat awesome local breads/cheeses in your kitchen and beautiful porch with incredible views. Park your car in her garage and you’re done! Highly recommend for an authentic relaxing stay! USA family June 2024 ! Grazie 🙏🏻

Our Story

Villa Britannia is a small, exclusive, boutique B&B located in the centre of Taormina, surrounded by Sicilian gardens in a quiet position with views over the sea and the city. The building has been recently refurbished with vintage, designer and antique furniture and most of the the wall art and sculptures are made locally. Villa Britannias garden hosts an ancient Roman soldier tomb in its garden, is indeed the neighbour villa to where the famous writer D.H Lawrence lived and Truman Capote.

This bed and breakfast is ideal place for those who want to feel in a home and enjoy food and wine ; we organise throughout the week cooking lessons, Sicilian wine tastings, aperitif, and more. We want you to feel at home but experience and taste a true side of Sicily.
