My Story

Corrado Triscari (Owner - Sicily Hikes) IT Taorminese, classe 1981, Biologo Marino (Laurea Triennale e Laurea Magistrale) e Guida Naturalistica autorizzata (Iscr. Reg. It. G.A.E. n° SI247), è stato ricercatore scientifico (ICRAM-CoNISMa) presso diverse Riserve Marine e su Navi Oceanografiche (Master in Ecotossicologia). Da più di dieci anni si occupa di ecoturismo: dapprima come Guida Escursionistica e Biologo-Subacqueo in Egitto / Mar Rosso (per due anni, col T. O. Hotelplan), e poi in Sicilia nei luoghi dove è cresciuto (Etna e Taormina). Esperto subacqueo (S.S.I.) e comprovata Guida Ambientale Escursionistica (socio Aigae), possiede all’attivo l’esperienza di diverse migliaia di persone guidate in escursione, sott’acqua e in montagna, singolarmente e/o in gruppo. EN Born in Taormina (1981), Marine Biologist (B.Sc., M.Sc.) and Licensed Nature Guide (Aut. n° SI247), he worked as scientific Researcher (ICRAM-CoNISMa) in several Marine Reserves and aboard Oceanographic ships (acquiring a Master in Ecotoxicology). Since more than ten years he is deeply involved in ecotourism: firstly as Tour Guide and Biologist-Scuba Diver in Egypt / Red Sea (for two years with the T. O. Hotelplan), then in Sicily in the places where he grew up (Mt. Etna and Taormina). Both an expert and licensed scuba diver (S.S.I.) and hiking guide (Aigae member), his wide experience is guaranteed by the several thousands of people guided in excursion, either underwater either above mountains, individuals and/or groups.
