From navigating the maze of Italian bureaucracy to the endless renovation surprises, this journey has been nothing short of a rollercoaster. There were days—weeks, even—where we felt completely bruised by the challenges, questioning our sanity.

A KEY TO STORAGE

One of the (many) surprises during renovations? Realizing that a 12th-century palazzo doesn’t quite embrace the concept of storage like Australia or the USA. No walk-in closets here… LOL!

So, we scoured Umbria for the most beautiful, timeless armoires and cabinets—because if we can’t have built-ins, we’ll have antiques with stories to tell.

Now, my greatest fear? Misplacing 50+ ancient-looking keys. Even with traditional tassels, it’s a daily game of Where Did I Put That One?!

LA FESTA DELLA DONNA
