🌿 A Special Invitation for Solo Women Travelers 50+ in Italy! 🇮🇹

Whether you’re dreaming of living in Italy, already here, or simply looking to connect with like-minded women, this is your chance! This year, I’m offering a few special weeks for solo women retreats—a unique co-living experience where you can stay at my place and truly immerse yourself in Italian life.

Unlike a typical tour, this is all about slow living—no rushing from one attraction to the next. Instead, we savor the simple joys:
✨ Strolling through local markets
✨ Enjoying meals together (sometimes out, sometimes prepared with fresh ingredients at home)
✨ Exploring charming villages nearby
✨ Taking a hike or just unwinding in beautiful surroundings

Everything is taken care of—you don’t need a car, and I’ll be there to host and guide you. Normally, my apartments are only available for independent guests, but this is a rare exception for those who want to experience Italy in a warm, supportive group of solo women.

Another wonderful review…

I’ve had the pleasure of staying at Villa Solisera. It was truly amazing.

Christiane is charming and delightful - the perfect host.

The apartments are very nicely remodeled and still have their rustic charm.

The villa is surrounded by an olive orchard and fruit trees with a lovely panoramic view of the Umbrian hills and a neighboring vineyard.

The villa is a short drive to Todi, Perugia, Orvieto, Spello and Spoleto. Great for seeing Umbria.

I would highly recommend staying at Christiane’s villa. It is truly remarkable and a one of a kind Jem.

A Day at Villa Solisera

Looking back at one of those magical days that captures the essence of life at Villa Solisera. We started the morning harvesting grapes together in the golden Umbrian sun, laughing, chatting, and savoring the beauty of the countryside. 🍇

By lunchtime, we gathered around a shared table, enjoying a delicious homemade meal with their wine, and laughter filling the air. 🍝🍷 It’s these simple, shared moments that remind us of the joy of connection and living at a slower pace.

At Villa Solisera, it’s not just about experiencing Italy; it’s about creating memories and forming friendships that stay with you long after the day is done. 🌞

🌟 Reflecting on an Amazing First Year at Villa Solisera 🌟

I can hardly believe it's been a whole year since I opened the doors of Villa Solisera to solo women like us. What a journey it has been! From the moment I envisioned this space as a sanctuary for like-minded, open-hearted women, I knew it would blossom into something special – and it truly has.

This past few months have been filled with unforgettable moments: gathering for the olive harvest, savoring sweet grapes from the vine, sharing delightful dinners on my terrace, and embarking on countless excursions to explore the beauty of our surroundings. Every experience was enriched by the warmth and camaraderie of the amazing women who came through my doors.

I've felt so grateful to witness the connections that have formed, the laughter that echoed through the property, and the stories that have been shared. The sense of community we've created here in Todi has exceeded my expectations. Watching our group bond over shared experiences, all while embracing the beauty of Italy, has been incredibly rewarding.

Thank you to each of you who have been a part of this journey. Your willingness to step outside your comfort zone, connect with others, and embrace this chapter of life has made Villa Solisera a home filled with love and adventure.

Here's to more olive harvests, more grape picking, and many more shared meals in the years to come!

What an unforgettable experience we had at the grape harvest! 🍇 We were so fortunate to be among the guests at the Concinnate winery. It was truly a day to remember. From learning about the harvesting process to actually picking the grapes ourselves, it was such a hands-on and authentic experience.

Afterwards, we enjoyed a delicious lunch with the most amazing food and company—everything was so fresh and perfectly paired with local wines. We couldn't have asked for a better day!

Huge thanks to Sally and Rollie who allowed us to join and made us feel so welcome!
