Discover the historic Strada Regia, a 33 km route that takes you from Brunate to Bellagio along the ancient Royal Road. Dating back to the 11th century, this path once linked Como and Bellagio but was largely forgotten with the arrival of modern roads. Between 2002 and 2006, it was carefully restored to become a scenic trail.

Divided into three stages, the trek leads through charming villages and offers chances for refreshments and accommodations along the way. The journey ends near the Devil’s Bridge on the Lezzeno-Bellagio border, where buses are available for convenient return trips to Como and Bellagio. Walking along Provincial Road 583 to Bellagio is not advised due to traffic and the lack of sidewalks.
