This is Luca and his truffle dog Tina. We met Luca because he owns almost all the land on the mountain where we live. He has lots of cows (which you can often see in our stories), goats, bunnies, ducks, goose. He is a real farmer with the heart in the right place. He is also making honey, olive oil, grows vegetables and grains, corn for the animals and always makes time when our guests request a truffle hunt.

When you visit Il POSTO you can’t miss out on a hunt! The season for white truffles has recently opened and it’s a true sport. Luckily Luca had Tina. She finds them all! Thank you Luca!

For everyone who was a little upset about us not getting to the end of summer: we have arrived. It’s getting cold here too! Also this time of year has something special 🔥

This room has already changed so many times in 2 years. From storage room to camping-kitchen. To workplace to henhouse. From henhouse to shop. From shop to shop & cooking class space. The light and view from this place is so nice around sunset.

All the copper pots and pans we found on markets and in second hand shops. I had no idea how to treat the pans (they were black before), but after long polishing they became all shiny again ✨✨
