Mount Ganjaku's Rock That Won't Fall - A Place for Students to Pray for Success!
Located between Aka Village and the town of Soeda, Mt. Ganjaku is a popular 454-meter-high hiking spot. It has multiple hiking trails leading to the summit.

The highlight of these hiking trails are the many huge and strange rocks! Especially famous is a gigantic unusual rock wedged between two rocky walls. This spectacular rock, balancing miraculously and not falling despite looking like it could fall at anytime, is popular among hikers. It is also a place where students pray for success in entrance exams, because "not falling" = "not failing the exam."

The view from the summit is beautiful and you can take great photos of the strangely shaped rocks.

🛎️ Progetto Ricerca Sponsor attività di restauro del Museo d'Arte Orientale E. Chiossone!

Il Museo d'Arte Orientale Edoardo Chiossone di Genova, situato all'interno di Villetta Di Negro, conserva la più importante collezione di arte orientale in Italia: la collezione raccolta dal pittore e incisore Edoardo Chiossone, nativo di Arenzano, che trascorse, dal 1875, buona parte della sua vita in Giappone, dirigendo l'Officina di carte e valori di Tokyo.

🌊Presso i depositi del museo sono conservate diverse opere; alcune di queste necessitano di interventi di restauro specializzati per poter essere adeguatamente conservate e presentate al pubblico. L’obiettivo del progetto e dell’azienda proponente è quello di permettere che queste gemme nascoste possano essere restaurate, così da diventare esponibili e offrire ai visitatori un’esperienza culturale unica e arricchente. Il progetto si rivolge a tutte quelle aziende interessate alle tematiche dell’Oriente e in particolare alla cultura giapponese. 🎌

La proposta che ci giunge da un’impresa che si candida alla sponsorizzazione non esclude altre collaborazioni da soggetti diversi. Attraverso questa proposta di sponsorizzazione, le aziende avranno l’opportunità di partecipare attivamente alla conservazione e valorizzazione del patrimonio culturale del Museo, rafforzando al contempo la loro immagine e visibilità all’interno della comunità locale e internazionale.

Due to a derailment of a maintenance car between Toyohashi Station and Mikawa Anjo Station, some sections of the Tokaido Shinkansen are currently out of service. 🏃‍♀️Kyoto Marathon 2025 entries have opened!🏃‍♂️

Entries for the Kyoto Marathon 2025 opened at 10:00 (JST) on July 18th (Thu).
We are looking forward to a big turnout!

The course of the marathon is organized in the vicinity of the seven World Heritage Sites of Kyoto, allowing its participants to enjoy the beauty of this city and its natural landscapes.

The runners will pass through a number of picturesque areas such as Arashiyama and Kamogawa. It will also be possible to admire the panoramic view of the five mountains surrounding Kyoto from the perspective of the marathon course. Those mountains are known for being the highlight of the August "Okuribi" (bonfire) festival.
