Digital Nomads
The first in Italy, perhaps? Certainly one of the first.
The innovative hospitality project Dolcevita Coliving has been launched in Vallo di Nera (PG), aimed at digital nomads who choose to work remotely from alternative locations to large cities.
Thanks to the sponsorship of the Comune di Vallo di Nera , guests can stay for periods ranging from one week to one month, working in the coworking space located in the former convent of the Church of Santa Maria Assunta (13th century) and sharing meals together.
Activities such as morning yoga in the picturesque Piazza di San Giovanni Battista (13th century), walks and hikes on foot or by bicycle through the green nature of Valnerina, dog trekking organized by the pet experience platform Kanito.it, and visits to local producers to discover and taste the gastronomic delights of Valnerina are also organized.
Vallo di Nera is a small town, located on a hill at the entrance to the Valnerina, the valley of the Nera River. The town has received numerous awards for its historical and scenic features. It is part of the “Most Beautiful Villages in Italy” and the Association of Virtuous Municipalities, has earned the Orange Flag from the Italian Touring Club, and is recognized as a Bee-Friendly Municipality and a City of Truffles, Olive Oil, and Cheese.
The Dolce Vita Coliving project was born through the collaboration of young entrepreneurs from Vallo di Nera, who run the hospitality services in the village, and Fabio Cipriano Caterino and Riccardo Mattioli, friends who met in Berlin with experience as digital nomads and in e-commerce. More information can be found on the initiative’s website: dolcevitacoliving.com.
