Today, I’m sharing a 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗵 from Abruzzo’s rural tradition: 𝗣𝗶𝘇𝘇 𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝗷𝗲!
A recipe I grew up with, 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, that embodies the simplicity and richness of our land.
With just a few ingredients – corn flour, hot water, and wild greens – it delivers an authentic and exceptional flavor, bringing back the tastes of the past.
🔥 𝗟𝗲𝘁’𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿!

Homemade limoncello
Even though the weather outside is gray and cloudy, today we’ve got our own sunshine at home… thanks to our 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼!🍋
My dad, Papà Angelo, and I rolled up our sleeves and made a whopping 30 liters (that’s about 8 gallons for our friends across the pond).
Hopefully, that’s enough to share a taste with all of you! 😄
The bright yellow color and aroma of the 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘀 we used instantly lifted our spirits, and we hope it does the same for you.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays live from Ettore and me! 🎄
Many of you have met us on our tours, especially Ettore, who you may remember from our Abruzzo adventures! We're sending warm wishes your way this holiday season, along with this photo of our MEGA 🔥 fire where we're cooking sausages! 😋
We're building this bonfire in San Salvo to celebrate the Night of San Tommaso. 🔥 It's a tradition here to light bonfires on the eve of the feast day of Saint Thomas the Apostle.
Hope you have a cozy and wonderful Christmas with loved ones. ❤️
Ciao for now from Fabrizio (and Ettore too, of course)! 👋
