Venetian Heritage is pleased to present a silent auction of exceptional contemporary works of art by some of today's leading artists and photographers. Funds raised from Venetian Heritage's Benefit Auction will go toward the general restyling and exhibition update of the Galleria Giorgio Franchetti alla Ca' d'Oro ( ) the splendid late-gothic palazzo famous worldwide for its evocative name (The Golden House) and its unique façade, which belongs to the Italian Ministry of Culture.

Venetian Heritage extends special thanks to the artists who helped make this auction possible: Renato D'Agostin, Sir Anish Kapoor, Massimo Listri, Javier Marín, Vik Muniz and Mary Weatherford.

Dear Friends,
Today, together with the Italy’s Liberation Day, we celebrare the Feast of St. Mark, Saint Patron of Venice.
We gift Venice with the rose bud, showing once more the love that bond Venetian Heritage to the timeless beauty of the city, that we aim to safeguard and promote with our mission and your support.
Do you know the rose bud tradition’s story?
In this day is it custom for men to give a rose bud to their beloved woman in memory of the love story between Maria, daughter of Doge Orso Partecipazio, and Tancredi, a men of humble origins who wanted to marry Maria. In order to do that, he went to war with the hope to cover himself with glory. However, the fate had different plans. Tancredi died but before his last breath he was able to give to Orlando, one of his companions, a rose bud for Maria. Back to Venice, Orlando gave the flower to the woman, who died of sadness the very next day (25th April). Share this pic with your beloved one!🌹 PAX TIBI MARCE EVANGELISTA MEVS

💥 A TRAVELING MASTERPICE 🌍

Saint Jerome in the Desert together with Saint Agatha in Prison are two masterpieces depicted by Paolo Veronese for the Church of the Monastery of Santa Maria degli Angeli in Murano (Venice), later moved in the nearby Church of San Pietro Martire where they are still located.
With the aim of promoting Venetian art in the world, in 2016 Venetian Heritage, thanks to the generous support of , not only restored the two paintings but also organized the exhibition “Paintings from Murano by Paolo Veronese Restored by Venetian Heritage with the Support of Bulgari” at the . Later the exhibition traveled to the in New York and to in New Orleans.
Once again we are proud to say that art, culture and heritage make the world! 🌍❤

‼️BREAKING NEWS‼️

The New York Times talks about and Venetian Heritage. Lights focused on the extraordinary project which, starting from the reassembling of sculptures in the Tribuna with the exhibition DOMUS GRIMANI 1594-2019 and continuing with the new set-up of the Room of the Doge and the exhibition Georg Baselitz/Archinto, wanted to enhance and promote Palazzo Grimani and its history.
This project has confirmed a virtuous public-private collaboration involving the Direzione regionale Musei Veneto and the Venetian Heritage Foundation.

BEFORE/AFTER RESTORATION

Also in Trogir, Venetian Heritage has financed another incredible restoration at the magnificent Saint Lawrence Cathedral. The project involved work on the portal, narthex, and baptistery.
The restoration was supported by the Getty Foundation and many other generous donors, and dedicated to the memory of Maria Teresa Gaja Rubin de Cervin Albrizzi.

BEFORE/AFTER RESTORATION

Among the most important restoration projects supported by Venetian Heritage, there is the restoration of the Chapel of the Blessed Giovanni Orsini in the Cathedral of Saint Lawrence, Trogir (Croatia). This project was awarded the European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage/Europa Nostra Award 2003 for its high quality.
The restoration concentrated on removing the accumulated grime and candle grease from the limestone.
