Lo state a preparà il piattino? Manca poco e arriva Sant’Andrea !!! ❤️ La tradizione del pesce si racconta sia nata presso la Chiesa di Sant'Andrea, chiesa del XII secolo, nel cuore di Pianoscarano, uno dei quartieri più antichi di Viterbo. Stando ai racconti degli anziani del posto, in occasione della ricorrenza di Sant'Andrea il parroco di questa chiesa era solito mettere nell'acquasantiera un pesce di cioccolato per ogni sacrestano e uno per il vescovo. Da qui l'usanza si sarebbe estesa prima al quartiere e poi all'intera città.

La ragione dell'adozione del pesce come simbolo della festa è da ricercare nella biografia del santo. Andrea, infatti, era in origine un pescatore, conobbe Gesù, lo fece incontrare al fratello, il futuro San Pietro, e insieme divennero suoi discepoli, condividendo la condanna a morire crocefissi.

Un'altra versione spiega l'origine del simbolo con il fatto che fu Sant'Andrea a presentare a Gesù il bambino dei pani e dei pesci che egli moltiplicò per sfamare migliaia di persone ❤️

Viterbo is most active at night and that is the best time to hang out with friends and go explore the nightlife. Bar 77 is a local bar in the walls of Viterbo. The environment there is so fun and welcoming. For those who speak English and barely any Italian, this bar is perfect for you. The Staff at Bar 77 speak Italian and really good English and they welcome anyone to hang out with them. Hope to see you guys there!
