I’m in the middle of writing an article for an international magazine about Abruzzo’s tasty ancient wheats that grow up high in the mountains without the need for fertilisers. So beneficial to our precious land.

I am learning so much, they aren’t just the prize of deli-like establishments but have moved into national supermarkets even. They always harvest a little later than their modern, modified counterparts, over the next 10 days. The photo was snapped at the mural town of Casale San Nicola (TE), discover more about it here

Il 9 settembre del 1922 nasceva, per iniziativa privata, il Parco Nazionale d'Abruzzo. 🐻🌳

Venerdì 9 e sabato 10 festeggeremo i 100 anni del Parco con un ricco programma che mira a coinvolgere le comunità locali, le istituzioni, gli operatori del territorio, tutti coloro che sono legati al Parco ed a quello che ha rappresentato e rappresenta per la "Protezione delle silvane bellezze e dei tesori della Natura".
