We aim to build a strong sense of community between the parents, teachers, children and the immediate community around the school. We aim to encourage community spirit by the events we hold each year to raise funds to add to the children's learning experiences, be it by improving the school library, equipment for the sensory room, gardening equipment for the growing of vegetables or what we are aiming for this year rejuvenating the playground.

Dear all could we please put a plea out for donations towards our bric-a-brac and tombola stalls. We are looking for jars, cans, toiletries, bottles, jars filled with sweets( empty jars available outside Mr Hazley’s office) etc. Any donation will be gratefully received. The count down has begun. Car is fully loaded with penguins and polar bears, and We have enough, duct tape, staples, glue, glitter, spray paint, baubles, fake snow, and double sided tape to sink a battle ship. Grotto building here we come.
We’ll keep you up dated with our progress during the week. We’re all very excited and a little nervous about our first public debut next Saturday. Don’t forgot GV children get to visit on Friday afternoon as well . 🎅

Raffle tickets will be on sale from the PTA front desk from Monday morning onwards. They will be £1 a strip. Prizes will include £100 cash, £50 coop voucher, £50 bambola voucher, goodie hamper, Teddy, wine, and a lolly tree.

The count down had begun. Not long till we’ll have a visit from the big man in red.
The Christmas Fayre and grotto will be held on Friday 6th December and excitedly we’ll be holding an indoor carboot on Saturday 7th December. The best thing about Saturday the 7th is that the grotto will also be open to the public 🎅

Dear all, with the school taking part in the Food Dudes program we have been asked to stop tuck shop. As this program is all about healthy choices we feel it’s important to support the schools decision.
If anyone has any suggestions to replace the tuck shop we’d love to hear them.

Dear all key stage one will be running a club from the hall tomorrow so tuck shop will be held on the decking by the front door . You are welcome to eat your treats in the play ground 😊

Do not forget that tomorrow is the PTA Grands Vaux Summer Fete. It starts at 11am and goes through to 4pm. At the event there will be bouncy castles, Mr Harper's famous Caribbean BBQ, plenty of games, a tombola, a raffle and many more treats. We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow- bring plenty of change!
