The ‘Cognito’ concept is to promote courses and training programmes aimed specifically at filling the growing needs of Tour operators and Travel companies. It is also of interest to individuals who are keen to discover and achieve a greater understanding and knowledge of Jersey’s rich history and culture.

‘Cognito’ courses and programmes range from an Island Discovery Day to a programme of 14 spe

cialist lectures incorporating Jersey’s historical and cultural make-up which will lead to a greater understanding of how the Island’s history has evolved through geology, inhabitants, social structure, religion, politics, trade and commerce. The training courses cover a wide range of subjects and differing levels of involvement.
