🌞 April 11 marked a monumental milestone in Jamaica’s Renewable Energy journey! 🌱 The LASCO/UWI Solar Pilot Project, a ground-breaking initiative developed under the Strengthening Energy Sector Resilience in Jamaica project, has reached its completion after three and a half years of dedicated collaboration.

🤝 Proudly supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and and the Jamaica Energy Resilience Alliance (JERA), this project was brought to fruition by the visionary efforts of the University of the West Indies (UWI) and executed by LASCO , with invaluable technical support from UWI Mona, CADMUS, and all JERA members.

🏆 This achievement underscores the power of partnership in driving forward renewable energy solutions and highlights the unwavering commitment of both the public and private sectors to fortifying Jamaica’s energy resilience and sustainability.

The JHTA congratulates our energy partners on a job well done.
