Experience authentic Jamaica in Treasure Beach, on the south coast. Beach access & private pool.
Turtles' Nest Villa is nestled between the Great Pedro Pond and Caribbean Sea, mere steps away from a sandy beach cove. This three bedroom villa is extremely spacious and discreet, with a large lounge area as well as a private pool and your own personal chef. Inspired by the bright colours of the Santa Cruz Mountains and the Pedro Plains in the back drop, this beach front villa is decorated in a u
nique contemporary style. Magnificent mountain and ocean views can be admired from nearly every room. Overlooking the sparkling ocean is a large private upper deck featuring sun lounge, as well as a pool side patio table to enjoy a relaxing glass of wine with family and friends. We have a large sundeck, with steps down to the beach, which also shady areas for dining and a evening cocktails.
No one ever quite believes just how close to the beach we are, so here is proof! A few short steps and boom - pretty much your own private stretch of sand and the most stunning Caribbean Sea views. Around the corner is a shallow lagoon, just perfect for swimming or a cooling dip.

Sunset on Treasure Beach, in one of the locals' bars. Hard to imagine a more relaxing way to spend an evening...

Nothing beats an ice cold beer on a hot day in the tropics. Red Stripe is Jamaica's national drink and most locals actually prefer it "hot" (room temperature). But for us people from "farin" the chilled version is the absolute best.

The view from our terrace, unique and totally unspoilt. The beach is deserted most days, apart from the odd dog walker, so you can enjoy you own space at our own pace.

On the way to Pelican Bar - the world famous pub in the sea! Just 20 minutes from our beach. A boat captain will pick you up and take you on a private trip to the bar and then on to the Black River safari. Be sure to bring cash for cold beers and freshly caught fish...

Enjoy a villa right on the beach - where it's secluded, calm and at one with nature.
Work virtually complete to repair the damage done by Hurricane Beryl, under a watchful eye! Fencing fixed, pool cleaned and the new gazebos are going up - ready to reopen next week.
An amazing job by Zeb, Fray, Gary and the team. Big thanks also to for their invaluable help getting it all done.

Such a beautiful day, everything looks so blue and in sharp focus in the sparkling sunlight.

We sadly lost our palm trees to Hurricane Beryl but we will be replanting! A huge thanks to our caretaker Zeb for all his efforts to restore our garden. Updates coming soon.
"Amazing, amazing, amazing! Turtles' Nest is a five star stay and Lucy is a super host! She helped us book an extremely last minute stay for a few nights and was very responsive and helpful in getting us set up. Zeb and the rest of the staff including the adorable and loyal Sugar and Spice (dogs) were there to great us as soon as we arrived and made us feel at home.
"The house is brilliantly designed, very modern, clean and has everything you need. The bedrooms are very comfortable and have a/c. The pool is clean and always at the perfect temperature. And the beach!! Right in sight wherever you are in the house and especially enjoyable from the shaded gazebo.
"The sea directly in front of the house is a little rough sometimes but if you walk 60 seconds you get to a 'private' beach that is very calm. Most days we were the only ones maybe two days we saw two people, but aside from that this is the definition of a private beach and relaxing stay. Thank you Lucy we are planning on coming back!!"

We have a new roof! With huge thanks to Lisa and Shanakay at Lashings Treasure Beach for getting this sorted for us! So grateful.

Repair is underway at Turtles’ Nest. The part of the roof taken by Hurricane Beryl is being replaced, the fencing redone and the garden restored - ready for our next guests’ arrival.

Despite the best efforts of Hurricane Beryl, our vine is clinging on! So many sweet grapes 🍇. Maybe we should making Jamaican wine?!
Being right on the sea front, we inevitably got hit by some of the force from Hurricane Beryl, but happily nothing that can’t be repaired.
Our friends and neighbours weren’t so lucky, many lost their roofs or have been badly flooded. Poor Zeb our caretaker has lost his home.
We are doing everything we can to support the community and will update you shortly on ways to donate, to help get our wonderful Treasure Beach back on its feet again.

Google Review June 2024:
Absolutely breathtaking. Would 100% recommend. I think this property has ruined me for resorts. I left feeling rested and relaxed.
Rooms: Tropical and beautiful.
Safety: The property has a security that comes at 6pm and leaves at 6am.
Food & drinks: A chef is included in the cost. The food was really well prepared and delicious.
Noteworthy details: Cannot get over the view... it gives you a feeling of calm. Looking forward to returning.

Rum o’clock
It’s definitely rum o’clock. Jamaica’s best - distilled at the nearby Appleton Estate. Served with plenty of ice, sitting by the pool - what could be nicer.
Described by the Jamaica Gleaner's Dream House column as having a "standout modern design", this stunning beach front villa has three double bedrooms and additional accommodation in a cottage in the grounds. There is a private pool and patio, spacious sitting room, large beach front sun terrace and a fully equipped kitchen. It also comes with your own personal chef and caretaker included in the rental rate.

Private and quiet, you can spend your days relaxing by the pool, in the garden, a hammock, on the sundeck overlooking the beach, the patio or the first floor terrace - with spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea on one side and mountains on the other.
Treasure Beach is the south coast of the island, where it's sunny all year round with a gentle sea breeze. This off the beaten track cluster of fishing villages will delight and charm travellers looking for the authentic Jamaica.
