Dar AlDiafa Al Diafa means the “art of service to satisfy the guest” Dar Al Diafa for Human Resources Development Consultancy (DDTHRC) was established in 2009 in Jordan.

DDTHRC is specialized in offering academic and professional consultancies and services to public and private sector organizations in the tourism sector in Jordan and the Middle East countries. DDTHRC is inspired by the belief that tourism influences the lives of people therefore; if well harnessed it can be a force for peace and sustainable prosperity to all on this planet. DDTHRC operates in the

framework of the Global Code of Ethics for Tourism adopted by the UNWTO; a road map for stakeholders to achieve as responsible, sustainable and accessible tourism for all. Through-out its long experience in tourism development and its international and local affiliations and partnerships Dar Diafa Consultancy has gained a reputation in conducting evaluation and assessment surveys, curriculum development , strategies and capacity building programs in accordance to excellence international criteria in the subject area of sustainable human resources development in tourism. Currently Dar Diafa Consultancy provides professional development courses and certificate programs to enrich professionals at the management and administrative levels. Offering innovative and competitive skills to meet the global sustainable tourism development needs and growing demand on evolving trends in sustainable tourism and businesses models in destinations. The Consultancy aims to provide international certified courses in tourism development in partnership with international institutions for research and education to help professionals advance their careers and contribute to the tourism sector demand for innovation, efficient management and leadership skills. Brief about Dr. Suzy Hatough – Bouran:

She has been active in the tourism field since year 2000 when appointed Vice Dean at Amoun College for Hospitality and Tourism Education and Training. Established Dar Diafa for Tourism Human Resources Development in 2006 with the mission to disseminate knowledge in tourism, enhance quality of services and contribute to the to tourism sector development in Jordan and the Middle East Countries. She was certified as a UNWTO TedQual Program Auditor in 2009, and in August 2013, the UNWTO General Assembly has endorsed the appointment of Dr. Suzy Hatough as Alternate Member of the new World Committee for Tourism Ethics WCTE for the period of 2013-2017. As part of her role at the world committee, she has been promoting, advocating and implementing the UNWTO Global Code of Ethics in Tourism in the tourism sector in Jordan in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities (MoTA) and with the private sector companies and associations to brand Jordan as an international sustainable tourism destination, responsible for peace, tolerance, social inclusion and accessible tourism for all.
