We are happy to share that we are participating in the Business Export Coaching Project initiated by CBI - Centre for the Promotion of Imports from developing countries. From 2021 until 2025, this project will help us improve our business practices, be exposed to the European market, and support us in becoming a .

The 3-day workshop last week with our fellow colleagues was very insightful and motivating. A big thank you to our coaches for their guidance. We are looking forward to continuing this journey of constant improvement!!

Yesterday we had the pleasure to be part of a familiarisation Trip in Madaba implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH Jordan in cooperation with JITOA - Jordan.

A familiarisation trip is a perfect opportunity for tour operators to gain an understanding of a destination and its offers. Not only is it a great chance to get important insights into and understand the experiences, but also it is an opportunity to form personal relationships with partners.

We visited many interesting venues and partners that truly add value to Madaba as a destination. We started off with a Mosaic experience, where we were introduced to the art of Mosaic making, which is an important part of Jordanian culture. Other highlights included the Carob House, a venue based on a “farm to table” gastronomy concept. A fascinating and promising idea, supporting slow tourism. We also visited the famous كون - Kawon Library and Café, which is a must-see when in Madaba. Did you know that you can drop off books you do not need any more at this library?

Other places and initiatives we visited were: the Hikayet Sitti Home Experience, the Marrah Salameh Cave Restaurant, the Bani Hamida Foundation, Cultural Village, and the Halimeh Sa’aydeh House. All of them greatly contribute to Madaba as a tourism destination and we want to thank JITOA and GIZ for this opportunity.

Saying goodbye to our guests is never easy. But seeing them happy and satisfied with their experience in Jordan means a lot to us. Even though our ways part, we know that our guests are travelling back home with many unforgettable memories, new friendships, and a smile on their face. Nothing gives us more joy than knowing that our groups enjoyed their stay with us.

As travel is becoming more accessible, Jordan is being rebranded and repositioned as a destination. The slogan "Kingdom of Time" aims to highlight the diversity, uniqueness, and richness of history that Jordan has to offer.

The interview with Nayef Al Fayez, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, reveals that we are moving in the right direction to full recovery which is expected by 2024. As tourism is one of the top priorities for Jordan's economy, different measures have been taken to help with the restoration of the sector.
