Jordan Tourism Board signed an agreement to establish project called "Amman Heritage Walk [Amman Trail]", which aims to draw the attention of residents and tourists to downtown Amman, and for Amman to become a pedestrian-friendly city that showcases its heritage alongside modern life by 2025.
The initiative combines the efforts of a group of experts that includes architects, landscapers and historian.

The Jerash Tourism Directorate has picked the locations of three new tourism trails planned to open this summer.
The first trail, named "Nahr Al Dahab" (The River of Gold), will connect the ancient and modern sections of Jerash, it will also include the eastern baths area and the Levant alley, while the shops on the trail will focus on selling handmade products.
The second trail, named Umm Jozeh, will extend over 9km from the Dibeen to Jozeh areas, and will be dedicated for hikers and cyclists.
The last trail, "Ghabat Al Sindian" (The Oak Forests), is a 7km wooded area also dedicated for walking or cycling.
