Irbid🇯🇴
Irbid is a Jordanian city, and the center of Irbid Governorate in northern Jordan and its largest city. It is located 71 kilometers north of the capital Amman, and about 20 km south of the Syrian-Jordanian border. It is the third largest city in the Kingdom after the Jordanian capital and Zarqa in terms of population, as the population of the city and its suburbs exceeds 555 thousand people according to the estimated population census for the year 2019, and the area of the city with its suburbs is estimated at about 30 square kilometers. The location of the city of Irbid is considered average compared to the rest of the governorate's regions; as it is located on latitude 32 north and longitude 35 east. The geographical nature of the city is characterized by a plain nature, although its western regions are more mountainous in nature.

Its beginnings were in the Roman era, when it was built in a location between the ten historical cities of the Decapolis League, and later became a center of the Islamic conquest centers. The city has a library that is considered one of the largest libraries in the Middle East, which is the Husseiniya Library at Yarmouk University.

The city of Karak is one of the cities located in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. It is distinguished by being one of the ancient and ancient cities that dates back to the depths of history.
