فرع IEEE في الجامعة الأردنية يحقق جائزة الفرع المثالي للمنطقة الثامنة

تم تكريم فرع IEEE في الجامعة الأردنية بجائزة الفرع المثالي للمنطقة الثامنة (الشرق الأوسط وأوروبا وأفريقيا) في الاجتماع السنوي لمجمع المهندسين الكهربائيين والإلكترونيين (IEEE) فرع الأردن، الذي عقد في فندق لاند مارك عمان.

تم تسلم الجائزة من قبل الطالب مصطفى الخوالدة رئيس الفرع والدكتور محمد عبد المجيد مشرف الفرع، بحضور عميد كلية الهندسة الأستاذ الدكتور منور التراكية كمندوب عن رئيس الجامعة الأردنية.

كما تم تكريم مجتمع الحاسوب في الجامعة الأردنية لفوزهم بجائزة أفضل مجتمع حاسوب طلابي على مستوى العالم. وتم تكريم الطلبة محمد القاسم ولينة الحوراني من المجتمع لهذه السنة والطلبة خالد الترتير ودانه ف*ج من المجتمع السابق، بالإضافة لمشرفي المجتمع الدكتور موسى الأخرس والدكتورة ريم الفايز.

هذا الإنجاز يضاف إلى سلسلة النجاحات التي حققها الفرع في مختلف المجالات، حيث يتميز الفرع بتفوقه المستمر في الأنشطة الأكاديمية والمجتمعية. نود أن نعبر عن فخرنا واعتزازنا بطلابنا المبدعين الذين يعملون بجد واجتهاد لتحقيق هذه الإنجازات المرموقة.

IEEE Student Branch at the University of Jordan Wins the Exemplary Branch Award for Region 8
The IEEE Student Branch at the University of Jordan was honored with the Exemplary Branch Award for Region 8 (Middle East, Europe, and Africa) at the annual meeting of the IEEE Jordan Section, held at the Landmark Amman Hotel.

The award was received by the student branch Chair, Mostafa Al-Khawaldeh, and the branch advisor, Dr. Mohammad Abdul-Majid, in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Munir Al-Taraiki, representing the President of the University of Jordan.

Additionally, the Computer Society at the University of Jordan was recognized for winning the Best Student Computer Society Award worldwide. The students honored included Mohammad Al-Qasem and Lina Al-Hourani from this year’s society, and Khalid Al-Tarteer and Dana F***j from the previous year’s society, alongside the society advisors, Dr. Mousa Al-Akhras and Dr. Reem Al-Faiz.

This achievement adds to the series of successes that the branch has accomplished in various fields, showcasing the branch’s continuous excellence in academic and community activities. We express our pride and appreciation for our creative students who work diligently and tirelessly to achieve these prestigious honors.

نحن النشاط الطلابي لفريق IEEE بالجامعة الاردنية، نعبّر عن تضامننا مع أهالي غزة في هذا الوقت الصعب الذي يمرون به. إننا ندين بشدة العمليات العسكرية والعنف الذي يصل لحد الإبادة الجماعية الذي يتعرضون له على يد قوى الإحتلال، ونؤكد على حقهم في العيش في سلام وأمان.

في هذه اللحظة، نرسل تحياتنا وأمانينا لأصدقائنا في فرق IEEE في فلسطين. نأمل أن تكونوا بأتم السلامة وأن تتجاوزوا هذه التحديات بقوة وصمود. إننا نقف بجانبكم ونتمنى لكم السلام والأمان.

يعلن الفرع الطلابي لمجمع مهندسي الكهرباء و الإلكترونيات في الجامعه الاردنية (IEEE- University of Jordan Student Branch) بمجتمعاته المختلفة ( PES, RAS, ComSoc, Computer Society, AESS, APS, CIS and WIE affinity group)عن بدء فترة الترشح للإنتخابات للعام الجامعي 2023-2024.
شروط الترشح:
- أن يكن عضوًا في IEEE، أو يملك الرغبة بتسجيل العضوية لهذا العام.
- يملك سيرة أكاديمية جيدة، لديه الإستعداد لتقديم أعمال تطوعية، يملك مهارات تواصل جيدة و يتحلى بروح العمل مع الفريق.

عندما أُتيحت الفرصة للنساء في البحث والمشاركة العلمية سابقًا كانت البولندية ماري كوري اول من يأخذ جائزتَي نوبل في مجالين مختلفين..
في الثامن من آذار "اليوم العالمي للمرأة" لا يسعنا إلا أن نذكر اللواتي كنَّ سببا في التغيير، التغيير الذي لم يُر فقط بل خلق عصرًا جديدا من كل شيء، لماري ولفاطمة الفهري ( مؤسسة أول جامعة في العالم 859 م ) ولأخوات عياش (الأسيرات في سجون الاحتلال) ..للعالمات والأمهات صانعات الشرارة الاولى ومصدر إلهام العقول الفذة، لَكُنّ جميلات (IEEE) .. وللنساء في كل مكان، أيامًا سعيدة مليئة بالانجاز والتفوق!

On Women's International Day, we reflect on the women who blazed a trail for change and ushered in a new era, particularly in the field of scientific research. Among these trailblazers is Marie Curie, a Polish scientist who was the first woman to win two Nobel Prizes in different fields. We also remember the contributions of other inspiring women such as Fatima Al-Fihri, who founded the world's first university in 859 CE, and the sisters of Ayyash, who were captives in occupation prisons. These women, along with countless others including scientists, mothers, and creators, continue to be a source of inspiration for unique minds everywhere. و بيتميز فرعنا عن باقي الفروع إنه بيهدف لدعم الطلاب المهتمين بهاد المجال وخاصة مشاريع التخرج إلي بتتناول هاي المواضيع.

Our Field of Interest🧐

The field of interest of the AP-S encompasses antennas, including analysis, design, development, measurement, and testing; radiation, propagation, and the interaction of electromagnetic waves with discrete and continuous media; and applications and systems pertinent to antennas, propagation, and sense, such as applied optics, millimeter- and sub-millimeter-wave techniques, antenna signal processing and control, radio astronomy, and propagation and radiation aspects of terrestrial and space-based communication, including wireless, mobile, satellite, and telecommunications.

Also, as a student chapter, we care about and support graduation projects that deal with these topics.
