Day 1

From you and your guide will visit the Nabataean Temple, which is located close to Rum village and features ancient Thamudic nd Kufic rock art. The temple was erected around the first century BC. Next we’ll drive you to Lawrence Spring where you can climb and take pictures of the incredible view. After this you will go to see the Map and then the Sand Dunes, which are a large area of sand dunes piled up against the mountains. It’s fun to climb to the top and then run down. Then we’ll take you to see the Ancient Inscriptions and afterwards you’ll go by the Lawrence House. Next we will drive you to the Burrah Canyon where we will drop you off with a map and you’ll hike for about two hours in this beautiful setting. At the end of the hike you will have lunch, Bedouin tea and then continue to the Burdah Mountain where you’ll see the big bridge from the ground. After that we’ll take you to the Um Frouth Rock Bridge. You will have an opportunity to climb this bridge. Next is the Small Arch ridge which can also climb easily. After this you’ll go to Khazali Canyon where you can walk inside to see the inscriptions. Then we’ll take you to the camp where you can put your things in your tent, have a shower, sip Bedouin tea before viewing the setting sun at a gorgeous site called Al Ghuroub. If you arrive at the camp early you may walk to this site or take a leisurely hike in the area.
Day 2

Jabal Um Addami is the highest mountain in Jordan and is located right on the border with Saudi Arabia. If you are on top of the mountain you can see Saudi Arabia and even the Red Sea on a clear day. Jebel Um Adaami is 1832m above sea level; by comparison Wadi Rum village is 1000m above sea level.

After breakfast we will drive you through the desert some 40kms to the south to Jebel Um Addami. This is a magnificent drive through the far valleys of Wadi Rum and crossing the beautiful and lonely Wadi Saabit. Upon arrival you will have a guided hike to the top which usually takes about 2 1/2 hours. You’ll hike up Jabal Um Addami and then after resting at the top, you’ll descend to a nice secluded area. While you rest and explore the area, your guide will start cooking your lunch. After the lunch you can hike for 2 hours and then we drive you by jeep to the Wadi Rum Fire Camp where you can watch the beautiful sunset and spend the night while enjoying music, songs, a delicious bedouin dinner and bedouin tea.

On the next day, after breakfast, we will drive you back to Rum village

Day 1

This mountain is very easy to climb for anyone who is inexperienced or who would like a simple hike. You and your guide will start hiking from the eastern side of the mountain in the Um Snenah Valley and go through the valley to the top. Then we will take you down from the north-western side of the mountain by Wadi Nuqra. In total this hike takes approximately 5 hours. This is probably the most beautiful mountain in Wadi Rum to hike on, because when you arrive at the highest point (1700m above sea level) you will see all the different colours that encapsulate Wadi Rum. After reaching the top, you will desend the mountain and your guide will start cooking your lunch and you can rest for 1 hour. After that you and your guide will walk about 3 hours around the mountain. Finally, we will back to the camp and wait for the sunset, and then you can enjoy the dinner and music.
Next day after breakfast we will drive you back to Rum village.

DAY 1

This tour starts from Wadi Rum village, where you will depart with your guide and hike to the Nabatean Temple and then to the Red Sand Dunes, where you can climb up the dunes. Then you will go to the Ancient Inscriptions left by trade caravans many centuries ago. Here you will have lunch and relax for one hour. Then you will hike to the Um Ishrin area where you and your guide will meet the jeep with your luggage, have Bedouin dinner and Bedouin tea and spend the first night under the stars.
DAY 2

The second day after breakfast you will go to the BurrahCanyon. You can walk through the canyon while your guide prepares lunch. After lunch you will continue to theBurdah Rock Bridge, the big arch, and here you will spend the second night. The jeep will bring your luggage, and you will have a Bedouin dinner and sleep under the stars.
DAY 3

On the 3rd day you will go to the Um Frouth Rock Bridge, which you can climb while your guide prepares lunch. After that you will continue to the sunset place where you will watch the beautiful sunset. Here you will meet the jeep with your luggage, have Bedouin dinner and sleep the third night under the stars.
DAY 4

On the 4th day after breakfast we will drive you back to Wadi Rum village by jeep.

Day 1

My name is Ibraheem Mutlak , the owner of Bedouin Fire Camp. I grew up in Wadi Rum and I would be honored to share my experience and knowledge of the area together with you. The camp you will be staying in is family owned and -operated. Since our camp opened its tents in 2003, we have treated every customer as though he or she were part of our family. Our services are the best and come with a personal touch! We welcome you to come and try the Desert Life with Us! Bedouin Fire Camp is located in the Wadi Rum Protected Area, close to the spectacular Jebel Al-Qattar, in an area known as the “Sunset Area” (Um Sabatah). From our camp you will enjoy great viewsof red and white sand dunes during the sunset. Leave your worries, the traffic and other tourists behind! Located 12 km from Rum Village and 17 km from the Visitors Center, we are right on the edge of the Protected Area’s Wilderness Zone. The camp has been located in Wadi Rum since 2003.

Day 1
Our representative meets you at the Wadi Rum Visitor’s Center to assist in your transfer to Rum Village, where your 4×4 tour begins with one of our professional driver guides. A half day’s tour covers a minimum of 5 sites. The number of sites covered depends on the pace that you choose.
Your day 1 ends in our fixed camp, where you may watch the sunset, go for a wander or relax around the campfire with a cup of tea, before enjoying a traditional Bedouin dinner. After your meal, conversation often lingers late around the fire, as we gaze up at the magnificent night sky. Your guides can also be convinced to share Bedouin songs and stories…

DAY 2
After a traditional breakfast, we’ll es**rt you back to Rum Village for transport to your next adventure!

Additional Offers
A camel transfer back to the village is a great option at 30 JD per guest for a 2 – 3 hour ride, arriving after 11:00 am.
Arrive before 5 pm, the evening before your tour and stay an extra night at only 20 JD more per guest.

A full day’s tour covers between 8 and 12 sites, including lunch and an hour of rest time. The number of sites visited depends on the pacing you choose. Red Sand Dune climb – a good workout to climb up and even more fun to run down!
Anfashiyeh inscriptions – rock art along the ancient caravan route to Mecca

Rakhabat Canyon – a highlight of Wadi Rum’s red sand desert
Barragh Canyon – a scenic place for a wander
Burdah Rock Bridge – the highest natural arch in Wadi Rum
Um Fruth Arch – a 20 m climb; about 20 minutes up and back; a great photo opp!
Wadak Rock Bridge – an easy climb close to Khazali Mountain
Um Semmen Rock Bridge – an easier climb in the Wilderness Zone’s White Desert
Khazali Canyon – a deep fissure in the red sandstone Khazali Mountain – decorated with a variety of ancient rock art
Mushroom Rock – yes – it looks like a mushroom!
Cow Rock – it’s got two legs and a round body! A great area to climb and look out over the desert
Abu Hasheba Canyon – a kilometer hike through a narrow desert canyon, your guide will meet you at the end of the canyon
Water collection site – take a peek at a Bedouin water collection system
Red Sand Dune scenic views – take a few minutes to gaze out over the desert from the red dunes on the edge of the Wilderness Zone
Al Qattar Spring – across the valley from our fixed camp, a short walk up from the desert, the spring at Al Qattar Mountain affords fantastic desert views

Price includes

Guide, 4×4 services, accommodation in fixed desert camp, all meals, water, Bedouin tea, private tent with bed and bedding. The entry into the protected area of Wadi Rum is not included in our rates, and costs 5 JOD per person to be paid upon arrival at the visitor’s center. But you don’t need to pay the entrance of Wadi Rum if you have the Jordan pass.
