A great place to visit during the spring with its beautiful rolling hills and lush greenery, Jerash has a rhythm not seen anywhere else in Jordan. Also, every year Jerash hosts the Jerash Festival of Culture and Arts, a three week summer program filled with folk dance, music, and theatrical performances. 🐪🐫🌅🌄🌠

——🔸 WADI IBN HAMMAD 🔸———

Wadi Ibn Hammad, nearly 2 hours south of Amman is located 285 meters below sea level. The place is a tourist spot recognized by the local government, but fortunately or unfortunately, not widely known and visited. The low frequency of people makes the site remains cleaner and well preserved.

The hike is considered easy and can be done in around two hours. Along the way breathtaking landscapes: hot springs, waterfalls, a variety of plants and rocks striking shapes. Its beauty lies in its warm springs. The canyons sediment on the top creates a tunnel canyon where the springs rain on your head. The walls of the canyon are painted with natural colors from to the minerals that the water contains.

Have you ever Visited any of the Seven Wonders?

Petra is a famous archaeological site in Jordan's southwestern desert. Dating to around 300 B.C., it was the capital of the Nabatean Kingdom. Accessed via a narrow canyon called Al Siq, it contains tombs and temples carved into pink sandstone cliffs, earning its nickname, the "Rose City." Perhaps its most famous structure is 45m-high Al Khazneh, a temple with an ornate, Greek-style facade, and known as The Treasury.

Kibbeh, a form of the Arabic word kubbah or "ball," is a staple in Middle Eastern cuisine. Kibbeh tastes like a meatball or meatloaf, and its flavor varies depending on the type of ground meat with which it's made. Traditionally, kibbeh includes ground lamb or goat, but it can be made with ground beef as well. There are also vegetarian versions of kibbeh made with lentils and vegetables.

The King Talal Dam is a large dam in the hills of northern Jordan, across the Zarqa River. The dam was started in 1971, with the original construction being completed in 1978 at a height of 92.5 meters.

Have you ever Visited any of the Seven Wonders? Most people know Jordan because of Petra, an ancient city that was featured in Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade. This place is amazing. Carved in rocks more than 2000 years ago, surrounded by mountains and narrow canyons. Credited as world heritage site and one of the new Seven Wonders, with more than half of the archeological treasures still buried.
