A Wadi (وادي, valley in Arabic) is an important source of water in the desert. There are several of them to be explored in Jordan, with different levels of difficulty. Check out this video about the Heba Trail, which is part of Wadi al-Salayta, about 90km from the capital Amman, to the south of Madaba. Waterfalls, pools, canyons...
