A true story out of dozens of love and marriage stories that happened here in JORDAN , in the Archaeological city of PETRA 🇯🇴
#I_Married_Bedouin is one of the most beautiful novels that tells the story of love and marriage, the chapters of which took place in Petra between the young man, Muhammad Abdullah Al-Manajah, and the New Zealand girl, Margaret, who later became Fatima (Umm Rami). A true love story that brings tears to the eyes!!!
A New Zealand citizen named Margaret van Geldermelsen turned her life story with her Jordanian “Bedouin” husband, Muhammad Abdullah, whom she met in 1978, into a book entitled “I Married a Bedouin,” which details the life of the Jordanian “Bedouin” and the love story she lived with him over the course of 24 years.
In 1978, New Zealand nurse Margaret van Geldermelsen, accompanied by her Australian friend Elizabeth, arrived in the ancient city of Petra in Jordan for the purpose of tourism.
There, their host was the young Bedouin “Muhammad Abdullah.” He was a simple, very poor young man who lived in a mountain cave in the city of Petra, the archaeological area. Because love was a will from God, the Bedouin “Muhammad” fell in love with “Margaret” at first sight, and at the same time, “Margaret” was impressed. Very much so.
After a few days had passed, Margaret confessed to her friend Elizabeth how much she admired the Bedouin, his chivalry towards them, lowering his gaze, his dedication to serving them, and the fact that he protected them and did not covet their money, and she went on to say that she loved him.
The Australian friend accused her of being crazy and that this was nothing but pity.
But “if God wanted heart to heart, He would bring them together and align their souls with each other.
In the same year 1978, “Margaret” married the Bedouin “Muhammad” after she told her family, who completely rejected the idea of her marrying a poor Arab, Muslim, and who did not have
