The Roubai 💛 are in bloom, a stunning display of yellow flowers known as WinterSweet "roubai." From late December to late February, these sweetly fragrant blossoms bravely endure the harsh cold, blooming with grace in the late winter sunshine. Their beauty is truly captivating. (in the Tsukuba Bairin).

We hiked the iconic Mt. Tsukuba ⛰️ (the 100 Famous Mountain), taking the cable car 🚠 to the summit ⛰️ before joyfully running down the mountain with two kids and two Pomeranians. Being embraced by the cool breezel🌬️ in the mountain forest was truly therapeutic.

There’s a ninja show and it will also be held tomorrow!

the word 'hoshi' in 🌟Japanese is pronounced 'want' ♥️as well. Currently, here is
a shrine where the worshippers pray to "get everything you want". New year pray for what you desire HOShii 🌟

In this shrine area, there are many things that are golden, like many things that people want! From the golden Tori pole, and the gold motorcycle, 🛵anyone can sit on a souvenir photo.

The sowing of 6️⃣ millions of nemophila 💙seeds has officially begun in the cold ❄️ 💂November on Miharashi Hill!

This beautiful process starts with the removal of the vibrant red kokia ♥️that adorned the hill last October.

Once the🧑‍🌾 soil is prepared, dedicated tools are used to carefully mark the entire hill ⛰️with lines spaced 20cm apart, ensuring the perfect layout for the seeds.

Did you know that each nemophila seed is about the size of a 1mm grain? 😲

Over the course of two weeks, approximately 130 liters—equivalent to a single rice bale—will be sown across the 4.2 hectares of Miharashi Hill.

Preparations are underway for the 2025 creating a breathtaking landscape where the brilliant blue of the nemophila beautifully blends with the blue sky. 💙We can't wait to see this stunning sight come to life!

🍁🍂Kenpoku Long Trail is a fantastic trail ~ We highly recommend it

In autumn, when the Foliage Was at its gorgeous peak, we embarked on an unforgettable adventure along the Kenpoku Long Trail.

The vibrant autumn foliage painted the landscape in shades of red, orange, and gold, creating a stunning backdrop for my hike. Each step along the winding path brought me closer to nature, and crisp air invigorated my senses.

I encountered breathtaking views of mountains and valleys, Fukuroda Waterfalls, and the tranquility of the trail offered a much-needed escape from daily life. As I completed my journey, I felt a deep sense of accomplishment and gratitude for the beauty of the season.♥️

And so it begins

On this beautiful day, with the warm ☀️ and cool ocean 🌊 breeze, our boss gave us the wonderful opportunity to visit a shrine ⛩️♥️ and pray for a smoother year-end.

We offered our prayers and contributions, hoping for the best.
As we turned to leave, we were greeted by a magnificent set of stone stairs leading to the entrance ⛩️Torii, unveiling a breathtaking view of the 🌊🐠ocean below.

Everyday on our way to work, I would spot this huge tree: Mito City's Resilient Ginkgo Tree

In Mito City, Japan, a magnificent ginkgo🌳 tree stands as a powerful symbol of hope ♥️and resilience. During a devastating WWII air raid on August 2, 1945, the tree was charred 🖤black but it refused to succumb to despair.

Months later, Mr. Ohata , a Mito City Resident, discovered a vibrant yellow💛-green 💚bud sprouting from its scorched 🕊️branches.

"So you were saved too?" he whispered, finding inspiration in the tree's tenacity. Each spring, as it bursts into life, the ginkgo reminds us of brighter 🌟days and the enduring spirit of nature.

Visit Mito this season and witness the miracle of a tree that embodies survival and renewal. 🍂💛

A ❄️ winter tradition in the Tsukuba Centre area that started in 2009.

The city of Tsukuba is transformed into a fantastic 🌎 world of light.🎄

Around 6,000 lanterns made by elementary and junior high school students in the city and businesses near Tsukuba Station will illuminate the area around Tsukuba Station!
(4,892 lanterns last year).
