Our Story
History o Bouken Kazoku 26 years ago, we moved to Hokkaido upon seeing our own children getting dependent on the convenience brought about by modern technology and losing the ability of critical thinking, improvising, and interacting with nature. Bouken Kazoku was established in 1993, providing the opportunity to experience self-sustaining life, hands-on cultural activities and natural excursions. o Building The time-honored wooden building of Bouken Kazoku was Hirafu Elementary School, which was a model school of bird-watching activities, and eventually shut down because of the low enrollment. In Bouken Kazoku, you can still see the paintings of birds by schoolchildren and teachers. Now, the schoolhouse welcomes you with its nostalgic sentiment, classroom-converted guestrooms, and an array of fun activities you can try your hands on. • Japanese Cultural Workshops 私たちは皆さまがニセコでの滞在をより快適にすごして頂くため、地元の野菜や山野草を使った食事を提供しております。 また、自然・生活体験では、羊蹄山裾野に広がる森で湧水汲み、山野草採り、魚釣り、五右衛門風呂、かまくら作りなど時間をかけ、のんびり過ごして頂ける体験を沢山用意しております。 海外の方には日本の生活文化を体感できる体験プログラムを用意しております。 ニセコの恵まれた自然環境と豊富な農産物は、地域の魅力をより一層深めてくれます。 それらを守り育む優しい地元の人たちと触れ合う機会は、旅先での最高の想い出ではないでしょうか。 そこで、冒険家族では関連する体験メニューを組み合わせる事によって新しい効果が生まれる今までにない体験プログラムを提案してます。
