Omisaki Station, a station that looks like it's floating on the sea🚊

Omisaki Station on the Shimabara Railway line has a spectacular view of the Ariake Sea right behind the platform. At high tide, the sea comes right up to the platform, giving you the feeling that you're floating on the sea.
The contrast between the sea, lit up by the morning sun, and the yellow flags on the platform is breathtakingly beautiful. 🌅

Why not go and see this spectacular view with someone special?✨

If you are planning to visit the famous Takachiho area in Miyazaki, you should add this shrine to your itinerary⛩⤵️

Amano Iwato Shrine is one of the most important shrines related to Japanese mythology because it is said to have been the location of an important event: It is where Amaterasu, the Sun Goddess, retreated to a nearby cave to hide from her brother.

This cave is located on the east side of the Iwato River. It is about a 10-minute walk along the Iwato River from the western main shrine of Ama-no-Iwato Shrine.

Let's learn history while visiting Fukuoka! Hakata is a district of Fukuoka City known for its tasty pork-flavored Hakata ramen, and for being one of the largest trading port cities of the Edo era🍜🛳

Beyond just ramen and ships, we recommend that you visit Kushida Shrine, a sacred space deeply connected with samurai history. Built in the 8th century, it is one of the oldest shrines in Fukuoka, and it hosts a festival every July called the Hakata Gion Yamakasa Festival, famous for decorated floats weighing around one ton.

If you miss the festival days, don't worry! You can still get a glimpse of these incredibly crafted floats on display on the grounds of Kushida Shrine.

Flowers will begin to bloom in Kagoshima very soon🌼🗻

Long ago, Lake Ikeda, the largest caldera lake in Kyushu, was formed by volcanic activity. Known for its giant eels, this spot is also famous for having many seasonal flowers in the area.

One of the best moments to visit is in January when nanohana (rapeseed flowers) bloom. If you are into exercise, take part in the Nanohana Marathon, and if you want to enjoy the flowers in a more causal manner, you can simply follow the jogging or cycling courses. You can also enjoy the views of Mount Kaimon from there, known as Kyushu's Mount Fuji.

Did you know that Nagasaki has its own hell?♨️

Unzen Jigoku is a rare natural heritage site of historical importance, located 90 minutes away from Nagasaki City by car, where hot springs and fumaroles violently spout forth steam due to volcanic activity.🌋

This unique national park is perfect for activities such as hiking, cycling, birdwatching, or walking around the area, made foggy by the hot springs surrounding the ryokan accommodations.

You can also take a tour led by a nature guide, who will give you a more in-depth explanation of the different kinds of flora and fauna that are found in this hot spring region.

Please keep in mind that this mountain location will be cooler than in the rest of the city, as it is located at a higher elevation!
