秋のお酒が入りました♪

2枚目は''昇龍蓬莱きもと純米山田錦60ひやおろし''です。こちらはなんと！日本酒度が+10度の大辛口なのが特徴です😮
試飲した感想は、とにかく辛い！だけど辛いだけでなくキレもあり和食によく合うと感じました😊

3枚目は''秋笹つきあかり純米吟醸2024''です。しっかりと味の馴染むこの季節まで寝かせた秋限定のお酒です🍶
日本酒度は公表されておりませんが、比較的甘口で辛口がお好きでない方にはこちらがおすすめです。✨

1合からお試しいただけますので、松坂屋本店にご宿泊になられた際には、ぜひお試しくださいませ😊

Autumn Sake has arrived♪

The second one is ''Shoryu Horai Kimoto Junmai Yamadanishiki 60 Hiyoroshi''. What a surprise this one is! It's very dry 😮.
My impression after tasting it is that it is just spicy! But it is not only spicy, it also has a sharpness that I felt went well with Japanese food😊.

The third one is ''Akizasa Tsukiakari Junmai Ginjo 2024''. It is an autumn-only sake that has been laid down until this season, when the flavors are well acclimated.
It is a relatively sweet sake and for those who do not like dry sake, this is the one for you. ✨

You can try it from 180ml, so please try it when you stay at Matsuzakayahonten😊.

〜渋沢栄一と箱根・松坂屋本店のつながり〜
今回は7月3日から20年ぶりに新札が発行されたということで、新しい一万円札の顔となった渋沢栄一と箱根についてお伝えします。

明治13年（1880）に、渋沢栄一が中心となり箱根仙石原に開いた牧舎という牧場では、当時最先端の西洋式大牧場を経営し、洋種の牛馬を導入した牧畜や牛乳・バターの販売などを手がけました。その後、別荘地の分譲や大涌谷温泉の造成・供給事業へと経営方針を転換し、箱根温泉給株式会社の設立にも尽力しました。
このように、渋沢栄一は箱根の観光開発に大きな役割を果たし、避暑などの保養にもたびたび訪れるなど箱根にも大変ゆかりのある人物です。

さらに松坂屋本店には、明治34年(1904)8月11日から9月3日までの期間、転地療養で宿泊されていた記録が残っており、箱根だけでなく、ここ松坂屋本店とも繋がりのある方です。

~The connection between Eiichi Shibusawa and Hakone, Matsuzakayahonten~
This time, we will talk about Eiichi Shibusawa, who will be the face of the new 10,000 yen note, and Hakone, as new banknotes were issued for the first time in 20 years on July 3rd.

In 1880, Eiichi Shibusawa opened a ranch called Bokusha in Sengokuhara, Hakone, which was the most advanced at the time, and was involved in livestock farming using Western-style cattle and horses, as well as the sale of milk and butter. He later changed his management policy to selling villas and developing and supplying Owakudani hot springs, and also worked hard to establish Hakone Onsen Kyu Co., Ltd.

In this way, Eiichi Shibusawa played a major role in the development of tourism in Hakone, and is a person who has a strong connection to Hakone, as he often visited the area for summer vacations and other purposes.

Furthermore, there is a record of him staying at Matsuzakayahonten for a change of scenery and recuperation from August 11 to September 3, 1904 (Meiji 34), so he has ties not only to Hakone, but also to Matsuzakayahonten.

日本各地では桜が咲き既に散り始めているところもありますが、松坂屋周辺は段々と暖かくなってきて、玄関や貸切露天風呂へ続く道では豆桜が咲き始めました🌸
この後1週間ほどは見られると予測しております。
また豆桜の他にも、ふきのとうが芽を出していたり、ウグイスの声が聞こえたりと冬の寒さが終わり春の訪れを実感します。
ぜひこれからお越し下さる方々は、今しか見られないこの景色をお楽しみ下さいませ✨

Cherry blossoms have bloomed in various parts of Japan and are already starting to fall in some places, but around Matsuzakaya, it's gradually getting warmer, and small cherry blossoms have begun to bloom at the entrance and on the path leading to the private open-air baths🌸
We predict that they will be visible for about another week.
In addition to the small cherry blossoms, butterbur sprouts are sprouting and you can hear the sounds of Japanese bush warblers, making you realize that the cold of winter is over and spring is coming.
