⛄ Restaurant Kamakura Village 2025 Travel plan reservations are now open! ⛄

From today, we have started accepting reservations for a special travel plan that includes a meal at Restaurant Kamakura-mura and accommodation in Iiyama City on the travel booking website "Iiyama Tabi-tabi.

You can choose from a variety of accommodation types, including hotels, guest houses and cottages. You can also enjoy the speciality 'Noroshi-nabe' at the Kamakura Village as lunch or dinner, and choose the plan that best suits your travel schedule.

Enjoy Hiking the Japanese first long trail, Shin-etsu Trail, in Iiyama Nagano.
The Shin-etsu Trail is a 110 km long path that runs along the border between Nagano and Niigata Prefectures. The trail is divided for 10 sections and we have released a travel package tour that enjoy hiking the part of it, section 5. We highly recommend the beautiful scenery of the beech tree forest that changes the leave’s color in this season. You can enjoy lots of autumn leaves and silence in the nature here.

We are now in the middle of the summer season! Iiyama has a lot of events during this season such as the Paper Latern festival and the Chikuma river-Firefork festival. People have enjoyed these symbolic spectacles for years!

The cherry blossom season in Iiyama City, Nagano Prefecture, is slightly later than in Tokyo and Kyoto, from mid to late April.

Iiyama Joshi Park lights up the cherry blossoms with traditional lights called 'bonbori' from 1 to 29 April.
There is also a shop where refreshments can be bought.

Restaurant Kamakura-mura, where you can enjoy a meal in a kamakura, is now accepting advance reservations via the website.

The meal is Noroshi-nabe, a speciality of the Kamakura-mura Village, made from local ingredients and tailored with Shinshu miso.
Advance reservations are required. Early booking is recommended for popular dates such as consecutive holidays! Telephone reservations will be available from 10 January.
