One of Kanazawa’s most stylish guides gives us a tour of the town of Inami. A small village outside Kanazawa, renowned through japan for its carpentry legends. Many apprentices come to Inami to learn or upgrade their skills. We take a lesson in wood carving and make our own sake mugs. A great day out, thanks to Sachiko for leading this one, Karolina and Jana for assistance. Loved it.

Takayama Night tour last night with Jana and Ikue, a beautiful evening in the old town district without the crowds. A stroll through the old Edo era town, followed by a tour of the nightlife district and finally a delicious Hida beef meal cooked in front of us. A great way to spend an evening in Takayama.
