We visited Re:PRISM SIDE BY SIDE in Mineyama to discover the joys and benefits of aerial yoga.
We did it on the low setting which was perfect for beginers, it was a surprisingly easy, and very relaxing. I don't think my shoulders have ever felt looser.
In addition to Aerial yoga they have regular yoga, as well as a salon with machines which can be used to laser remove hair, improve skin complexion, and tone muscle.

The Yuhigaura Area in Kyotango has been voted the most scenic hot spring onsen in Japan!
The area is named after the stunning sunsets you can see here, in the summer it sinks slowly in to the sea creating beautiful reflections off the calm summer sea.
Enjoying this sight from the comfort of the hot spring is a great way to relax, mind, body and soul.

Sekozushi is a limited time special dish you won't find in the supermarket. When crab fishing season starts (November 6th) to the end of December the smaller female crabs (called seko) are harvested alongside the male crabs.
Unlike the male crabs they are sold for resonable prices, so they can be enjoyed by anyone. One delicious dish they are used to make is sekozushi, where the different parts of the crab are seved on sweetened sushi rice.
This one was bought from Tachibana Shoten, a fish shop in the Yuhigaura area.

Nyoi-Ji Temple Cherry Blossoms
The Cherry blossoms at Nyoi-Ji Temple are in bloom and looking fabulous. The atmosphere is so calming and relaxing the perfect place and time to just feel spring flowing through you.
Winters in Kyotango don't get super cold, at least compared to some places, but we do get a bit of snow. While the snow at the coast melts pretty quickly, if you go a little bit inland it piles up and you can get some lovely snowy scenes.
