Maybe you dream of a nice tomato pasta and looking at the menu of some Italian restaurant along the streets you will find a dish called NAPOLITAN! 😳🤔😳

Before you get caught up in enthusiasm and patriotism, let's learn its history. 📚📖😲
This dish was created by Shigetada Irie, a Japanese chef at the New Grand Hotel in Yokohama, who had mastered the basics of Italian and French cuisine.👨‍🍳👨‍🍳👨‍🍳
After the war he wanted to prepare something different for an American general, and decided to prepare spaghetti with canned tomatoes, garlic, bacon, mushrooms and green peppers. 🍅🫑🧄🍝🥓

But post-war in Japan, canned tomatoes nor fresh tomatoes were considered a rare and a luxury💴💴, so those who copied the recipe changed it by using a ketchup.
Since then, it has become famous throughout the country and the Japanese people are convinced that this type of pasta is eaten in Naples. 😲😲😲

You can find it at most western style cafe and restaurants. You may also find it in bento (lunch box) at a local supermarkets.🏪🏨

Prima di farvi prendere dal fervore e dal pattriottismo conosciamo la sua storia. 📚😯📖🤔
Questo piatto è stato creato da Shigetada Irie, uno chef giapponese presso l'Hotel New Grand di Yokohama, che aveva imparato le basi della cucina italiana e francese. 👨‍🍳👨‍🍳
Nel dopoguerra volle preparare qualcosa di diverso per il Generale Mc Arthur, e decise di prepare degli spaghetti con del pomodoro in scatola, aglio, bacon, funghi e peperoni verdi. 🍅🫑🧄🥓
Ma nel dopoguerra in Giappone il pomodoro in scatola o i pomodori freschi erano una rarità e un lusso, così chi copiò la ricetta la storpiò usando il ketchup. 💴💴💴Da allora divenne famosa in tutto il paese e i giapponesi stessi sono convinti che a Napoli si mangi quel tipo di pasta. 😍😍😍

This Maiko and Geiko (Geisha) dance perfomance tour is available for 14 days!

Kamishichiken, the oldest of Kyoto's five kagai - Geiko (Geisha) & Maiko districts, heralds the arrival of spring with its annual dance performances.
It is said that spring in Kyoto begins with the dances of the Geiko (Geisha) and Maiko of Kamishichiken.🌸🌸🌸
The performances feature not only esteemed traditional dance but also large-scale dance dramas that weave contemporary trends and humor, celebrating spring in all its grandeur.
"Kitano Odori" has been performed by Geiko(Geisha) and Maiko for over 70 years!
The performance is only offered 14 days from 3/20/2025 to 4/2/2025!📅📅

Adashino Nenbutsuji: le 8000 statue dedicate alle anime perdute.🙏🙏

Ad Arashiyama c'è l'imbarazzo della scelta tra cosa visitare. 🤔
Famosa per la foresta di bambù e il tempio zen Tenryuji, ha tantissimi altri templi e posti che valgono la pena di essere visitati.👟🚶‍♀️🥾🚶

Un po' più a nord dalla parte principale si trova Adashino Nenbutsuji, un cimitero destinato ai defunti di ceto meno abbiente. Nel corso degli anni sono state accatastate, una vicino all'altra, tante lapidi che, con il passare del tempo, si sono deteriorate e ora sono una diversa dall'altra. 😔😔

Dentro potrete godere di bosco di bambù, molto più piccolo ed appartato rispetto al gemello famoso, dove poter scattare qualche foto in tranquillità.🌳🌳

Vocino potrete passeggiare lungo la Saga-Toriimoto, un vialetto che ospita case di legno tradizionali chiamate machiya, che oggi vengono usate come ristoranti e chioschi.🛖🍜🍣🍤☕

Parents are working hard every morning preparing delicious and cute bento for their kids.🥢
Character bento consist of face/body of characters from anime/movie, vehicles, animals, flowers and much more! ✨✨✨
ITS SO CUTE!!
You can find goods and tools at 100yen shops, DIY shops and babies/kids store.
When you visit Japan, you can find goods to make it for your family, friends, or for yourself.

There are more to see in Arashiyama than bamboo forest and Tenryu-ji temple.
Adashi-Nenbutsuji temple is one of the temples we recommend visitors to go and feel quiet and serene vibes. 🤫🫢🤫🫢

This temple is located bit far from major sightseeing spots in Arashiyama, but we think it’s totally worth it. 🚶🚶‍♂️🚶🚶‍♂️

There are approximately 8,000 buddha statues placed here. 😲😲😲
This temple enshrines death of low-class citizens.
They were placed next to each other, and many stones were beautifully placed high, but over long period of time, it has aged and decayed.😥😥
In temple’s premises, you can find bamboo forest. 🌳🌳🌳
Unlike the famous one, this place is not crowded by people, so you can take a perfect photogenetic pictures!

You will also find old fashion Japanese houses that has been renovated into cute shops and restaurants when you walk along the Saga-Toriimoto Street. 😋☕ 🍜

Chi di voi è famigliare agli anime/manga avrà sentito parlare degli obento🍱, il pranzo al sacco che i giapponesi si portano a scuola o al lavoro. 🥢🍙🥳

Ma avete mai sentito parlare dei kyara-ben? 🎃
Abbreviazione di "character bento", sono dei bento che di solito le mamme giapponesi preparano per i propri figli decorandoli in modo che assomiglino a degli animali, macchine o a dei personaggi degli anime. 🍤
Alcuni sono delle vere e proprie opere d'arte! 😍

Potete trovare gli accessori per i kyara-ben nei 100 yen shops, nei supermercati e nei negozi di articoli per bambini.🏪

Sapete come le persone a Kyoto pregano per migliorare la propria prosperità finanziaria?🤔
Vanno al Tempio Honkokuji nel quartiere di Yamashina!

Questo tempio è famoso per invocare la prosperità attraverso il culto di Bishamonten, la divinità associata alla ricchezza e al benessere.

Ricco di storia, con un bellissimo giardino e con un'atmosfera sacra attira ogni anno persone in cerca di benedizioni per aumentare la propria fortuna.💴

La parte più interessante di questo tempio è che puoi lavare i tuoi soldi con l'acqua pura che sgorga dalla bocca di un drago dorato chiamato Ryujin.🐉🐲

Il Tempio Honkokuji ha inoltre un Torii dorato, il che lo rende unico. Non ci sono tanti altri Torii dorati in Giappone.⛩
Di facile accesso sia con il treno con la linea Keihan e la linea Tozai della metropolitana. La fermata è si chiama "Misasagi".

Se avete occasione di andarci, potrete rilassarvi in questo piccolo tempio, e perchè no anche aumentare la vostra fortuna.

This temple offers visitors to engage in worship at the main hall and explore the beautiful grounds.
