Japanese sweets, „Taiyaki“
鯛焼きfish-shaped pancake stuffed with bean jam.

Tai means sea bream. It’s expensive in medieval time and commoners couldn’t buy it so they made the sea bream shaped pancake. At least they feel like to eat the real one…maybe.

There is the another sweet in the second picture which is Wasanbon (refined sugar made from sugarcane in Japan). I had it when I had the tea ceremony.

Today’s tour was one day trip to Naoshima island. The Naoshima is popular as the art island.

We can see the unique modern art and architectures there.

It was pouring when I visited the Narcissus Garden and mirror balls made rhythmical sounds.

When Yayoi Kusama was on the exhibit in Italy, a sign reading said “Your Narcissism for Sale”. And she was actually selling the mirror balls.

Day3 : I started walking from Saint John Pied Port to Roncevaux about 25km.
It was not planned but someone in Albergue set the alarm at 5am and I also wake up then I decided to get up that time. In any case someone is snoring so laut and I won’t be able to sleep again. It’s dark when I started to walk and I able to see the beautiful sunrise and sea clouds.

There is the saying, “the early bird gets the worm“ so it’s the great start of Camino de Santiago. #ハイキング #登山 #スペイン #フランス #世界遺産 #巡礼
