Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming guests from France for a calligraphy experience.

The gentleman is a black belt in karate—impressive! Despite his incredibly slim physique, he chose to take on the challenge of writing the character for “Karate-Do” (“The Way of Karate”) this time.

The lady wrote the character for “Sky” (which is also the name of her cat), and when we placed their works side by side…
Wait a second! If we add a “hand” in the middle, it becomes “Karate-Do”! When we pointed this out, they added his hand in the center 🫲.
Sure enough, it turned into “Karate-Do”!

Thank you so much for the wonderful time we shared!

男性は空手道黒帯保持者！凄い！
ものすごくスリムな身体からは想像出来ませんが、今回「空手道」の「道」にチャレンジしてくださいました。
女性が「空（買っている猫の名前）」と書いたので、並んでみたら…
アレ？手があれば空手道になるよ！とお伝えしたら、真ん中に手のひらを🫲
確かに空手道！

Our facility can accommodate groups of up to 20 people, making it ideal for larger parties. We look forward to welcoming you and appreciate your ongoing support.

新しい教室は、清水寺に近く、二年坂のスターバックスの横の路地の突き当たりにあります。
京都に観光に来られる方々には気楽にお立ち寄りいただけます。
また、広く眺めがよい和室で体験をしていただけます。
茶道、いけばな、書道、料理、折り紙全てのクラスに対応可能です。
最大20名様までお入りいただけますので、団体様にもお使いいただけます。

Today was the last day for our super assistant Ryo work at our home.
He goes to Toronto for his working holiday for a year from the next week so we had yakiniku dinner at our favorite restaurant to celebrate his newly start.
We met eventually at my favorite sushi restaurant in my neighborhood and it was the first day he was working in there.
He has born in very famous kimono company in kyoto( Oscar actor ordering kimono for them),and we are happy to have the chance to meet his family.
After that me and my husband visited his family and now my husband ordered kimono for his family’s kimono company.
We will miss you Ryo but we hope you enjoy your visiting in Toronto 💕

Today we had the guests from Hong Kong for our calligraphy class.
She asked to me to write complicated letter that has multiple meanings.
Look at this letter!
I have learnt a lot from her.
He is drawing artist who living in Hong Kong 🇭🇰
We had a great time together!

見たことない複雑な字のお手本を書いてくれと言われ書いてみました

発音はどう言うの？ときいたところ　
これは一文字にたくさんの漢字が入っているから一文字としては発音しないとの事でした。

宝、財、進、招がぎゅーっと詰め込まれています。

めっちゃ面白かったです！
