Where do I start about how good our guide was? Yuji did the most extraordinary amount of preparation for our tour. He even went to extra trouble to research my wife's Lupis, which is a degenerative neurological condition that limits how well and how fast she can walk. Yuji was patient, informative, considerate and very knowledgeable about everything on our walking tour of Hiroshima and Miyajima.
His insight into different religions, customs and lifestyles of the local people is enormous and is to be commended.
When it was time for lunch, he even was able to cater for people with food intolerances. The restaurant we eventually chose was excellent and very inexpensive by our standards. Even our 17 year old who is very fussy with food enjoyed gobbling down what was presented to him.
All told, Yuji is one of the best tour guides we have ever had and you should ask for him by name if possible.
