The Myoko Ski Resorts are located in and around Myoko Kogen - a Japanese mountain area, ski resort, hiking area and spa town approximately 40 minutes by train from Nagano Station or JoetsuMyoko Station. The region is most famous for it's high quality powder snow in winter across 9 resorts. These include:

If you're new to Japan and/or Myoko, just to let you know, New Year is super peak travel time for Japanese people. This was the lift line at Alpenblick Ikenotaira Onsen yesterday. It will be busy until about 2 or 3 January and then things will start to quieten down again. Please be patient. Once you get beyond the main lifts/gondolas lines will be a lot shorter.
