For all passangers to Japan, please check all government protocols and conditions to ensure compliance to the requirements. Newer updates may be released closer to your flight date. Here are the most important information we have available at the moment.
As per government regulations, guests bound for Japan must present printed copies of the following travel requirements:
1. Vaccination Certificate issued by a government of public institution, in Japanese or English, must include the following:
• Name of Passenger
• Date of Birth (If date of birth is not included in the certificate, it may still be considered valid if it contains your passport number or other information that can be used to verify that the vaccination certificate is yours.)
• Vaccine Name / Manufacturer
• Date of Vaccination
• Number of Doses Administered - there should be at least three (3) doses
• If the vaccination certificate is in a language other than Japanese or English, it may be considered valid if it is accompanied by a Japanese or English translation and the content can be confirmed.
• The government of Japan will accept all vaccines listed in the World Health Organization (WHO)'s emergency use listing.
• Guests who are unable to show a Vaccine Certificate with three (3) doses must present a negative RT-PCR test result, issued within 72 hours before departure.
• Children below 18 years old will follow the same travel restrictions and must submit the same travel requirements as the adult companion. If the adult companion has a valid vaccination certificate, then the child is considered to be fully vaccinated as well. Otherwise, if the adult companion will present a negative RT-PCR test, then the child must also present the same. However, for countries that do not allow PCR test and/or COVID-19 vaccine for children (generally under the age of six), the child will not be required to submit if his/her adult companion has complete requirements.
2. Register for Visit Japan Web to exercise " Fast Track" procedures when entering Japan. Three (3) separate QR codes will be generated upon registration, which shall be used during Japan Customs, Immigration and Quarantine clearance processing.
