Hi, today I guided a czech woman🇨🇿
She studys in Korea, and travels Japan now!

It was raining heavily, but we spent a great time together. We fold a deer with origami, and went to matcha cafe🍵Dango grilled using a Japanese portable charcoal grill, was so delicious. I was so happy she enjoyed matcha and dango. After that, we visited Ukimido and Todaiji temple.

We talked a lot today☺️
about: each other’s school life, our hometown, each country’s food, school festival, and so on!

I hope it's sunny from tomorrow, and she enjoy Japan!

I guided a friendly woman from America🇺🇸

We visited Kofukuji-temple, Kasugataisya-shrine, Todaiji-temple, Yoshiki-garden, and Himuro-shrine!

She loves cats, and her stamp card (Goshuin-cho) has many cats!!! Very very cute😻
She showed me many pictures of her pets. In return, I talked about my pets!!

She lives in Florida, so she also explained about Disney!
I became interested in Disney World in Florida🥹

She was only third day of three weeks vacation, so enjoy your trip!!!

I guided a couple From Australia on their 45th wedding anniversary 🇦🇺💍
They came from a part of Australia where I did homestay 8 years ago! Of course they knew where pics I showed were taken!

We went around Nara and had coffee break! I spent wonderful time with them!

I had a wonderful time with a lovely lady from Russia🇷🇺

It rained terribly today☔️, but that was the only bad thing✨
Thanks to the rain we were able to enjoy our chat😊 We had a lot of fun talking about a variety of topics: our major, her job, her hobbies, our hometown, her husband, and so on!
From her story, I could tell that her husband is a very pleasant and kind man! I long for a wonderful married life like hers💕

She taught me a little Russian, but it was difficult to pronounce especially the word "Рыба." which means fish🐟 If I were to go to Russia, I wouldn’t be able to order fish dishes at a local restaurant😂

We also experience a tea ceremony, which she wanted to do🍵 The timing was so great✨ I learned about the tea ceremony at the last study session, but I couldn’t explain it very well, so I want to study English more and improve my guiding skills!

At the end of the tour, I received nice postcards and candy🍬for me and Nara student guide! It was a wonderful souvenir of her memorable place😌

Today I guided two lovely family from U.S.🇺🇸

We went to Kofukuji temple, Japanese garden, Todaiji temple, and Kasugataisha shrine. On the way to go spots, they feed deer so many times!🦌🍁

They said that everything is entertainment for us in Japan!😆And they asked me many questions from university to hobby!✨

I enjoyed talking about their works at the lunch time!
They are father and son, but their values are different. One person enjoys his work, and the other works to enjoy his hobbies. I thought both were wonderful ways of living.😊🫶
I was surprised to learn that by the time the parents will retire, the retirement age would be 65 to 67!‼︎

I had fun time!

Hi,today we guided tourists from Switzerland.🇨🇭We went Todaiji-temple, Kasugataisha-shrine, and Kofukuji-temple. We had Kakinoha-sushi that is Nara’s traditional food.🍣 They enjoyed feeding the deer. He has already been to Japan twice,but this time is his wife’s first time to Japan. They are traveling many places in Japan on this trip. We enjoyed talking!! They talked about many countries that we have traveled.Especially their story of trip to Antarctica was interesting! Japan is his favorite country to visit! Thank you so much for coming Nara and talking a lot!! Have a wonderful trip in Japan ☺️

Hi, today I guided a group from Italy🇮🇹

We went to Kasugataisha-shrine, Todaiji-temple, and kofukuji-temple.

They are now in vacation, so traveling many places!
Actually they have visited Miyajima yet, but they really enjoyed playing with deer! When he fed deer, it attacked him😂

They also liked collecting stamps in temples or shrines. Stamp book was great✨️

Today I had the opportunity to guide a wonderful group from Spain🇪🇸

Everyone was so friendly and kind✨ They made me laugh with many jokes along the way😂 The statues of Niou were completed in 69 days, and when I told them that, they said, “It’s so different from the Sacrada Familia!” This was my favorite joke of all time😎

Also, they were very good at taking pictures, taking selfies with the deer together while giving them deer crackers, and taking cool pictures with the lights😌

Actually, Tomatina (festival of throwing tomatoes at each other) is a small town festival🍅 I had seen it on a Japanese variety show, and it had become my image of Spain😂

They are going to Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine⛩️ and Karaoke🎤 after this tour! Please have lots of fun in Japan! Thanks for a great time🥰

We guided a cheerful family from Mexico🇲🇽

We guided in Nara Park, Todaiji, Kasugataisha.

They listened to us carefully and told us many times, "We wouldn't have known these places or knowledge without you!" Those words made me very happy☺️

They enjoyed trying a lot of things such as trying new foods with chopsticks and purifying themselves with water before entering temples and shrines.

When we went to a kakinoha-sushi (persimmon-leaf wrapped sushi) restaurant, they first enjoyed trying to sit down on the floor. They had a good laugh because they were gonna try tea ceremony during their trip and sit on the floor in kimonos, but they were struggling to sit on the floor even in clothes, which should have been easier😂

We didn't have enough time to enter Kasugataisha, but they enjoyed the external appearance and the path🌳🦌

They said they want to come to Nara again and go inside next time!✨

Thank you for letting us guide you in Nara!
I hope we can see each other in Mexico or in Japan!

Hi there! We guided French and Spanish tourists coming from France🇫🇷🇪🇸

We walked around Todaiji Temple and Nara Park.
I was happy they listened to us enthusiastically and asked us many questions!
When I explained about Binzuru statue, they said they wouldn’t have known that without us☺️

We were surprised that they came to Nara after going to
Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto! (We met in Nara at 10 am)
Such an impressive stamina!✨

Though it was a short time, we enjoyed talking with them!

Yesterday, I guided a so lovely couple☺️
Actually, they just got married, and this is their honeymoon!! I'm happy to spend a wonderful time with them✨

We went to Kofukuji temple, Todaiji temple, Japanese garden, Kasugataisha shrine, and Naramachi. They love nature🌱I was glad that they enjoyed the atmosphere in Japanese garden.

During their trip, they tried so many Japanese food🍙 Yesterday, we had tofu hamburg steak. In Japan, there are a lot of food which are made from soybeans, and I told that them. The lunch was delicious✨

We got lucky with great weather☀️
It's getting colder and colder, so please take care of yourself. I hope they enjoy their Japan trip!!

From the U.S.A.🇺🇸

We went to Todaiji Temple, Kofukuji Temple, Yoshikien Garden, Nigiwai-no-ie（Japanese old house）, and Toy Museum.
They live in California, but it seems that a Japanese garden similar to Yoshikien is built in the U.S.
There is everything in America😂

We also saw Kofukuji and Todaiji and said they were similar to Korean ones. I have never been to Korea so I don't know, but it is interesting.

For a snack, we went to drink green tea.
The matcha latte was very tasty🍵

It was interesting to learn about the similarities and differences.
Thank you very much❤️

From Las Vegas 🇺🇸

I was amazed to hear about wild coyotes living in Las Vegas! The city is very dry, and the desert landscape looked so different from Japan. I was really surprised by the contrast🏜️

Her home country is Korea, and since international marriages were not common at that time, they had many difficulties. Hearing the story of how they met made me feel excited and happy💕

He worked as a programmer, and his wife is still an active nurse. Since I am a university student studying programming, I felt really inspired by their story😎

We were able to see the Deer Antler Cutting Ceremony today🦌
In Nara, deer antlers are cut to prevent accidents in autumn, when male deer become aggressive during their mating season.
It's a ritual with a history of 350 years for deer and humans to live together in harmony😌

I enjoyed talking a lot with them on the way😊
One of the memorial topics is about money💰
They said they were surprised that fruits are very expensive in Japan.
I was surprised that the labor income is higher than that of office workers in Australia.
I feel it's the opposite in Japan!
It was interesting to talk about the differences and similarities✨

It was a beautiful day, so we enjoyed the scenery of a Japanese garden, temples and Nara Park✨

The man commutes from Italy to Switzerland! As a Japanese, whose country is surrounded by ocean, going to another country that easily (almost every day!) sounds very cool🤩

They said the food in Italy differs from place to place. Their city Milano is famous for risotto. (but they said their favorite Italian food is pasta and pizza😂)
I wanna visit Italy and try many kinds of food in many places🤤

Today I guided a family from the US!🇺🇸

Their 7 year old daughter was energetic and was feeding and taming the deer. I was very surprised to see that the fawn, which is always afraid of people and runs away from them, was very friendly to her. 🦌🌿
The last place we visited was the Karakuri Toy Museum, where she also got along with the other children I met there. 🤝

At Naramachi Nigiwai-no-ie, we write down “Ema”(Votive pictures). I was happy they look fun.😊They all taught me some hand play songs. I remembered completely some of them!

I had a fun time!😆

I guided nice tourists from Korea🇰🇷

They are very good at speaking Japanese because they learned it from anime! He really likes Yu-Gi-Oh! , which is famous Japanese game. And he was planning to go to its battle in Osaka! I only knew this game was difficult to play for beginner, but I'd like to watch it!
Also, we ate kakinohazushi, which is covered by persimmon leaf. I was happy you liked it!!!
We enjoy talking and laughing very much!

Today I guided two lovely people from Italy!🇮🇹

The weather was very nice today, and on top of that, there were many festivals and markets going on in various places, so it was very crowded.💦

Recently, the deer in Nara Park are not very interested in deer crackers, so it was difficult to feed them. The cry of males in heat is written in Japanese waka poems, now is that season. And I am now looking forward to seeing the collaboration of autumn leaves and deer in the coming autumn season because it will be very atmospheric!🍂🦌🍁

They were very interested in Japanese culture and asked me many questions, so I felt it was worthwhile guiding them!😆

It was a lot of fun! Have a wonderful trip!

Hi, I guided two tourists from Italy🇮🇹🍕They had visited Koyasan. Also they were planning to go to Okinawa and Miyajima. What a good choice 👍 I hope they have wonderful memories in Japan. They explained to me how beautiful Japanese gardens are and difference between Japanese gardens and European’s. Also they taught me using ketchup in pizza is just like using it in ramen 😂They made me laugh a lot. We walked for a long time so we bought warabimochi drinks.This was my favorite one🥰,but they said “Oh it’s interesting.” Maybe they didn’t like it very much 😅 However it’s important and fun to try new things in other countries 😁

Hello! We had a wonderful tourists from Australia, Canada, Thailand, and the United States 🇦🇺🇨🇦🇹🇭🇺🇸✨

We visited Kasugataisha shrine.

They had a plan after this, so we didn't have time to visit other places. But, that enabled us to focus on talking, looking around the shrine, and taking a lot of pictures. We had a relaxing time in the woods 🌱︎‪😌💖

They were interested in Shintorism, Japanese indigenous beliefs and practices, and enjoyed talking about it. Also, they were really kind and sweet. They treated me like I was their daughter and encouraged me so much! I was happy to be with them 🥰

I wish them good health and a life full of happiness, smiles and love! Thank you so much!!

Today I guided a lovely tourist from England!🇬🇧

Today was very comfortable as it was cool and there were relatively few tourists.🌿🦌 We toured Nara's three major temples, shrines, Japanese gardens and Japanese houses. They really liked the calm atmosphere of Nara and I was glad to be able to show them the best of it.💓

I asked them about their life in England and their memories of Japan.

I was very surprised and laughed a lot when she told me that she bought ramen hand cream and packs in Japan. So we went to a popular ramen restaurant for lunch. It was very delicious!🍜✨

It’s getting colder here so we felt comfortable when explored Nara on foot… even we were sometimes hit by heavy rain showers 😂

At the end of the tour , they tried 3 kinds of autumn limited Japanese sake with tempura
🍁 They seemed to enjoy it!
